Hope is the same “soul” as Pandora, but with a different personality, basically a reincarnation. Immortals have less continuity between incarnations than say, Time Lords.

Where's Lavender?!?

Seriously, Edward, bringing another person into your household is the sort of thing you discuss with your fiancé before you issue the invitation.

Special circumstances I admit.

That said, hooray!

This may be evidence that she has not yet moved in, so perhaps they are not yet married?

Dad mode kicking in, Edward is watching out for Hope. Nice.

Either Edwards and Lavenders marriage will be the last thing before the time skip putting the main cast in college, or it's going to be off-screen.  And I don't think it's off-screen.  And I don't think they are married yet.

I don't either. Dan set this up as a big deal, with Tedd learning just how important his contribution to Uryuoms has been. Can't see him doing it offstage. On the other hand, I was thinking she had already moved in. Her continued absence is making me wonder.

I do hope we get to see the reception, either way. I'm hoping for another appearance of Will and Gill.

They did mention, at one time, something about her lease.  She may still be packing.

A wizard, a seer, a young immortal, and two shape-shifters.  The sitcom all but writes itself.

It's a two-story house with at least 3 bedrooms (Edward's, Tedd's, Grace's)  I hope it's at has at least a bath and half.

Maybe it was Lavender's sense of urgency that Edward mention it to Tedd and Grace before the moving van showed up that threw me. I had thought she would move in right after the dinner.

Well, of course not.  He hasn't had a reason to use his chart spell yet.  It's an Obvious unaccessible focus for his charisma score.

I think the Hero system has charisma.  I haven't played it since the late 80s.

I don't see him as a jerk. He's dealt with immortals before, and from what we've seen, even the benign ones are detached from human reality toward their own agenda. Hope is the remnant of an immortal with a particularly chaotic reputation; that could well be a factor. He manned up pretty quickly when faced with the bigger picture.

He does pretty well, I think, for someone who must be perpetually making things up as he goes. Waking up and finding out that a powerful and maybe not entirely benign entity has been invited to stay in his home has to have been a bit of a shock. Didn't Mrs. Summers once invite a vampire (Spike?) into the house under the impression that he was Buffy's friend? I imagine Edward must be feeling a bit like Buffy did.

1) I need to binge-watch BtvS this summer.
2) Yeah, I can see why Edward was a bit ticked by Tedd inviting Hope in.
