(385 onward)

So I'm not sure if I may just be reading too much into this. But I was poking through the archives a bit and came across the comics featuring IM logs between Sam and Mary (comic 385 onwards) and at the end of them Mary says her typos were intentional. I went back to take a closer look at her typos, and if you take each typo'd word, it kinda seems to spell a message?

"never time to hesitate first can haven't supposed you're monsters getting didn't totally nature the their"

I dunno if the extended "how" should count, with the e on the end (howe) or if the "their" is supposed to be "there". Hesitate is also actually "hesitating" but "hesitate" works better in context with the other words.

I assumed others would have found this already and figured it out, but I'm having trouble finding anything. Can anyone point me in the direction of the complete message? Or am I simply seeing a conspiracy where none exists?

There's something I've been wanting to share with fellow readers. Something I've noticed upon rereading the archives.

Both Viv and Lord Incubus have implied that Zandra may have the ability to see events still to come. I think we've actually seen a glimpse of this power already. Anyone else remember that fancy dream? Khazandra of the Eastern Lake and her fancy wooden castle? To me it looks an awful lot like what the house is starting to become. Even Sam visiting the house alone is consistent with this dream-vision.

It makes me wonder just how much else will end up foreshadowed. And how far ahead this comic has been planned.

Well... that was unexpected. Perhaps Bloo is unaware that her fangy friends aren't the only supernatural critters in town, and that most of the others have decided they rather like having Zandra in charge? Certainly the others have no reason to follow crazy vampire lady or Mike.

I have been following Zebra Girl for a long time, since KeenSpot, in fact!

It has been my favourite webcomic for all that time, still being so to this day. Zandra's story is close to my heart. She is a beautiful, powerful character that must struggle with being hated and demonised (literally, in her case). I often feel that I am very like her, yet I lack that power to conquer my identity and reforge myself as I desire. Maybe I see Zandra as a metaphor for my own pain. Is it silly to attach my feelings to a character like this? Perhaps so, but nonetheless, I do. And so I always enjoy reading about her.

Apologies for the emotional rambling. It is late, I'm tired and I may not be making as much sense as I want to. I have wanted to say something for years but my account on the old forums never got activated. I appreciate the comic a lot. It's a little bit of escapism that helps keep me sane.

	Thank you, Joe.
