From what I remember of those days, you were just the sort of moderator we needed back then. Someone less aggressive might have let too much slide (I'm pretty sure I would have).
As a moderator you might be a less ideal match for the current more sedate forums, but I still think you're a good moderator. You may pull out the moderator red a little fast at times, but  you always give people warnings before taking any more drastic action (in fact, I don't think I've even seen you do anything more drastic than lock a thread since I returned).
...This has gotten me thinking of the work you do for this forum, and have done for years, and while it's on my mind I'd like to say "thank you" for that work.

There is the common situation where fading eyesight is "assisted" by memory -- remembering what those few hints you can still see should be associated with. Trust me. That was entirely intentional, and the only ones I would apply in her case would be the rude ones.
Indeed. I have more than one reason for disliking her.

This is actually an argument for the party -- Ashley's image in Grace's thoughts has become less like the real Ashley in the same way that any description becomes less accurate when it's second or third hand. Once Grace has personally seen Ashley her mental image of Ashley will be a lot less distorted, which in Ashley's case means nicer.

I personally think brains would have made an excellent and appropriate floor...

Or, she could be preparing to use her (much weaker) abilities to levitate non-self items. This could be another case where she stumbles across a "no change" in the rules of magic.

Or else "everyone knows" that the order of changes is size first, clothing adjustment second, and so on, but you can always change the order with the dial. There used to be a little rhyme to remember the order.

If the ur-ellen would give them a chance, Tedd/Tess could give Ellen her own gender-change wand, making it clear that she could switch any time she really wanted to. Getting ur-ellen to understand that could be all kinds of difficult, though.

Tedd could produce one-day transformation wands with pointed ears, cat ears, cat whiskers, puppy tail, green skin, etc. (just one small transformation per wand) for vaccination purposes....we could have play groups with every grade-school child showing a different trivial transformation.
