Well, okay, a year in my case but i'm new here.
Also not a Mary sue. Power alone doesn't make a character such, a Mary sue is such because their traits are disproportionate and inappropriate, with no depth or substance. basically the opposite of the immortal four, since, aside from the newbie not having a past yet, those four have very real limitations, pasts that matter to how they behave, and internaly consistent motivations and behaviors.

I have to go to bed, I read your sentence as "how quickly Elvis reaches adulthood", then I started thinking of an Elvin Elvis singing in Elvish and now I have to go to bed...

Doc, the human, not the polar bear, is redoing the the cast page for "The Whiteboard", as a reward for Patreon hitting a level,  So far all he has done is change the pictures of the members of the cast that were all ready listed, but I really like the picture of Roger, who was already my spirit animal.  It more reflects me in my natural state.

Once again, Dan has shown us another side of what at first glance is a completely odious character. Pandora's tragic origin is, I think, the topper, but Susan, Diane, Mr. Raven, and others all were first introduced to us as unpleasant people, but they got more interesting and sympathetic as we came to learn more about them. Even Larry seems to be rethinking things.
Exceptions to this include Damien, Sirleck, and Rich. I don't hold out much hope for any of them.

Yes, a clearly identifiable weapon unambiguously conveys one's willingness to attack if provoked.

Or the wands are power sources so the wizard can go on for longer without being depleted of magic energy, or they are focuses to allow easier/faster/longer ranged casting, or they just look cool. Harry Dresden can do lots of magic without his tools and implements, but they make his work easier and add oomph to the effects.

I was going to copy the book but Dan's art has improved a LOT and it just looked weird. The book looked weird. Susan's expression is perfect.
