Ah Dan, you old rascal you. You just love throwing another log on the roaring fire of Fan Shipping. Now we know that nothing will break Tedd and Grace up and we already have the One True Triad with Sarah. And true, there have always been the stalwart ones, who have help out hope for a Tedd Elliot pairing, but now... Starship TessElliot has roared out of the spaceport. Honestly though, is there some kind of diagramming language/symbology for Transgender Polyamorous Shipping? I'm sure we can chart the whole cast into some kind of linked whole based purely on who has blushed at who in canon comics.

I think this is the crux of his choice. If Magic changes, it the excess magic in the area that let's him cast this spell goes away, what gender would he want to be permanently? True, he has other means of changing himself temporarily, and the TF gun shouldn't be affected by Magic changing or excess magic leaking away, but knowing he could change his default form whenever he wanted but that soon he might not be able to so easily, drives home that he perhaps he should choose what gender should to have as a default. And perhaps he needs to have a talk with his father. I think that Edward, despite what he has said in the past, should be able to accept the real Tedd.

Perhaps he is worried she tried to lift the car by it's bumper. If she is actually using physical strength, she likely just tore off the bumper on her first try. If her super-strength is more touch telekinetic, then yes, we have Comic Book Superhero lifting! Edward will likely address the vampire issue in this conversation but might be wondering if he needs to call his insurance regarding his car.\ Or he's worried she's lifting other people's cars and might be spotted.

So Tedd is Magic's failsafe? If Magic resets the world magic operating system, then Tedd is the Sys Admin who gave eventually relearn how it all works? That would seem to be Tedd's purpose. Honestly, if that is Tedd's purpose, then there may be other aspects to Tedd's powers that we haven't really seen or understood to help in this task. One thing she didn't mention, perhaps because she herself doesn't know about it, is Tedd's glowing, which seems to occur when he has intuitions regarding magic as well as when he is strongly feeling love. The use of his magic intuition also seems to give Tedd a burst of energy as well, which would be interesting if that energy turned out to be something he could channel into magic.

Hopefully they would be the regular, nice version of catgirls, and not the Something Positive version of catgirls. Scarrry!

Fascinating, so Catalina would love to zappa some mallbies for some catgirl fun, and we know Tedd would love to zappa people with various transformations if there were no consequences to his actions. We also know that Ashley harbors similar fantasies but also worries about hurting people; so much so that it blocked her from receiving magic from Pandora.. So here's my thought, can Sarah bring someone into her VR Timestop with her. If so, could they zappa people in the VR Timestop for consequence-free fun? Considering how much time Sarah hangs with Tedd and Grace, that possibility is bound to occur to them at some point. Also, if Ashley ever comes into the Fold deep enough to know about Sarah's power and, providing it can be used that way, would that enable her to be unblocked should someone decided to mark her for that spell later (or awaken with that spell if she ever did [insert one of the apparently many possible ways needed to develop magic])? Just a thought or two. Also, Rhoda and Catalina are so cute when they blush and obviously, they were made for each other.
  7. Story: Friday, September 23, 2016

I think from the way Edward is talking, when Immortals take a vow, it is as binding as the rules in place already for Immortals. Voltaire seems to be acting this way as well, not wanting to vow to a restraining order, which means he doesn't want to leave Elliot alone for now. Perhaps plan CM will work without Elliot's death. The issue I guess is what was Plan CM supposed to prevent? Pandora's plan of revealing Magic, helping Magus, both? Preventing Magus from coming back just means killing Elliot OR Ellen. Preventing the Pandora's plan to reveal Magic could have been accomplished by killing Raven, the reason for the plan in the first place. Plan A was supposed to be accomplished by just killing Elliot. I am thinking we don't really understand what Voltaire's true goals are, and perhaps Pandora has other goals in mind that we don't know about as well.

Ok, say what you will about my mind, but Rhoda's face to me meant she might have been thinking of shrinking and jumping on... ahem... Catalina's cupcakes.
  9. Story Friday August 5, 2016

Nice thought, that one. So Tedd would be like Magic's Archivist. I really would like to know if Tedd can not just see and understand magic working, but manipulate it in the process of working.
  10. Story Friday August 5, 2016

And so Magic gets what It was really after, a little sit down talk with Pandora via It's Emissary, showing that Pandora isn't the only one who can lay convoluted plans. Of course, there is the matter of how will Pandora fix things? She wants to give her family a changed world, where Magic is used openly, but Magic doesn't want many people using it. So... let's eliminate a whole bunch of people? Let's cause a crash in civilization so most people are too busy surviving to learn about magic? I know, let's blind people so they can't read and release a whole bunch of carnivorous plants, oh wait, that was Day of the Triffids, different Immortal Tantrum. Just saying, "fixing things" for an Immortal who is Chaotic and perhaps Insane might not be so fun.
  11. Story: Monday July 18, 2016

That is a pretty compelling idea. Though, the whole family relationship thing regarding immortals is a big unknown. I mean first, we have to find out where immortals come from. Can immortals mate with other immortals? Are there truly child immortals (not just reset)? I agree, Voltaire has certainly taken it upon himself to oppose Pandora, perhaps from a sense of familial responsibility? Perhaps he believes if Adrian is gone, Pandora will reset. Demetrius and Helena look like siblings, according to Dame Tara, but I can't see them being related to Pandora.
  12. Story: Monday July 11, 2016

I think this comic represents the true source of Pandora's insanity. Think of her choices. Blaike has gone on to that ultimate adventure, the Undiscovered Country, death, and Pandora can not follow. Her son, being long-lived, is still around and is a living, breathing connection to the love she had with Blaike. If she resets to protect her sanity, her memories of her son and husband will be as if she were reading them in a memoir, stripped of their emotional context, stripped of their life. Right now, with the Immortal's near perfect memory, Blaike must seem almost alive in her mind and heart. To regain sanity, she must rip him out of her heart. I think if Adrian had died some time ago as well, when she was more sane, she might have been able to do reset herself, but her perfect memory of a mother's love must be keeping her from resetting as long he lives. What would it be like to know you would never again really love your son if you reset? That if you saw him again, you would think, oh yes, I know about that person, not I KNOW that person? Her quest to remain unbored is her quest to keep from finally giving in to complete insanity. Insane, she might think nothing of killing all around her, including her son. I think if Adrian were to die now, Pandora would let herself give in to that terrible state of mind, the closest she might think she would ever get to some kind of final peace. I wonder, can an immortal be killed? If so, how many immortals might die fighting an insane Pandora. Pandora might be the nightmare that keeps other Immortals awake at night.

There is also the part where Tedd can resist magic. Everyone has some level of magic resistance, but Tedd's resistance is apparently different; we've seen him effortlessly shrug off temporary transformations. I wonder what would happen with a more direct magic attack, like a fireball?

Yeah, I think the most committed pacifists would be sorely tempted to go all Punisher on the Bromans.
