Actually, if his ego is big enough, he may be very fragile.
  2. Story Monday June 26, 2017

Why Susan? We don't even know that she knows of Susan, whereas we know she knows quite a lot about Tedd, much of which we're probably not privy to. In either case, there's nothing to give away what beyond her conversation with Heka it is she's basing that "of course" on. Because of this very obvious foreshadowing of course. This seem just as random as Susan and Diane looking similar, and we know where THAT ended, right? (Answer: Nowhere yet, actually ... not even them being sister is confirmed yet.) Also, she's more than four centuries old immortal interested in Tedd's well-being. It makes sense she did "background check" on all his friends. In fact, she might be the one who will just plainly tell what is the relationship between Susan and Diane.
  3. Story Monday June 26, 2017

It would STILL not enter the "of course" category. Only person who could be "of course" based on foreshadowing would be Susan, and even with her I don't think it means she's his child, just descendant. In essence, she has—they don't work without the dam, and she created the dam. Once the dam is gone, the watches won't work anymore. I'm guessing. That sounds too indirect to apologize for it this way. ... that's even more indirect and I also don't think it would be true - Tedd was already interested in transformations with TF gun before switching to watches, and I'm sure without the ambient magic he would find way to power them. It can be argued that it was Pandora's plan with dewitchery diamond and Elliot's awakening which made Tedd switch to magic, but Nanase was already awakened AND Elliot might've awaken even without the diamond soon. Also, again, indirect. And finally, I suppose seers being interested in magic is sort of easy to happen.

Here. (I was also considering the "on the back" answer.)
  5. Story Monday June 26, 2017

As in "of course they were his!" Edited. ... while "they" may refer to Tedd alone, "were" still mean at least two people, as far as I know. And no, with even Noriko being convinced Tedd is Edward's child it really can't be "of course". She didn't give him anything regarding watches, although he might lose ability to make them anyway. She also didn't give him ability to see magic. Only thing she gave him was the mark, so she must talk about the mark.
  6. NP Monday June 26, 2017

We have any innocent readers? I suppose they are not visiting this forum ... I mean, I don't think their innocence would last long in such case. Also, Nanase already considered this possibility in canon. Sooo ... who did made Ellen fat on this page? Rhoda? Did it cancelled her shrinking spell? The cat ears and tail are obviously from Catalina and DO stack with the fat transformation. And, yes, casting one spell with each hand does seem relatively predictable.
  7. Story Monday June 26, 2017

Yes ... surprisingly up front, I didn't expected she will tell him more names than she told Sarah. Especially considering she can assume he WILL tell Sarah. No, he is freaked out because immortal is talking to him, he might not even notice she walked through his table (and, likely, watches). Which makes two of them, as I'm sure Pandora didn't noticed she's walking through the table either.

It's possible we just did. I mean, if we take "I can do all these things" literally, it's canonical confirmation that she really has spells capable of doing everything described. But, yes, I'm not sure if we really should take it that way too.

    That's the Canadian, right?
  10. Story, Friday June 23, 2017

Oh, I don't know about that. Hatsheput might be up for it. After all, it's been a long time since her last date. That's why I said "most" and not "all".
  11. Story, Friday June 23, 2017

Are you talking about THIS edge?
  12. Story, Friday June 23, 2017

If it was a choice between being raided by him, or Nazis/KGB agents. They'd probably go with Indy. They would also prefer Indy to Hellboy. At least Indy is professional.
  13. NP, Friday June 23, 2017

More like "Oh Carp!" But yeah, training with someone who does have combat flying experience would be good. The "Oh Carp" proves that he didn't payed attention at "thwump" and didn't get better since. It's still too soon after "Oh Carp" to say if he finally got a clue and started training. Although the Friday would likely provide more clues.
  14. Story, Friday June 23, 2017

I dunno, I would think that some Pharaohs and Kings wouldn't mind being raided by Lara Croft. But most would mind being raided by Indiana Jones.
  15. Story, Wednesday June 21, 2017

Nah, I think she did it on Stonehenge. Waaait, she needs to unlock her achievements after every reset, doesn't she? So, both may be true.

Adrian's desire to not kill (though he did threaten to do so if Abraham didn't surrender) might have given Abraham the upper hand. But considering the spells at Abraham's disposal as well as magic items and the fact that he was able to resist the sleep spell would suggest that he's a decently powerful wizard. Also Abraham would have killed other monsters created by the diamond, if any of them were hostile, he'd have to have learned how to fight them. Also I would imagine that being able to put ones self into essentially a stone stasis pod would be quite a high level spell. Hmmmm ... good point. He might get better since his fiasco with the diamond. Elliot: "I'm a superhero! I can fly! I don't need any trai- thwump" ... yeah, he seriously needs aerial combat training from Nanase. That's where they START. Nanase was in Tedd's basement on start of So a Date at the Mall (or at least little before that).

Considering immortal laws, it would be even harder for her to enlist than for her son. Not that she would be interested in it.
  18. Story, Wednesday June 21, 2017

I think the problem is here -----------^
  19. Story, Friday June 23, 2017

I would consider writing biography acceptable price for living two centuries. ... in fact, I suspect that most people who live over ONE century are constantly bothered by reporters about how they managed to live so long, so sort of already covered.
  20. NP Monday June 19, 2017

Now I'm picturing the Mythbusters build team making a bust of Pandora made out of ballistics gel, and firing a Magus-bullet into it. Bust? She caught him in her WINGS. Not cleavage.
  21. NP, Friday June 23, 2017

Yes, this is assuming the main cast will be nearby. Which, no matter how unprobable, is very likely to happen ; this is going to be too big event to just leave someone out. Double date might be involved ... or triple date? I would expect so, but I find unlikely Abraham is so good, so either Raven got rusty due to not enough opportunities for training or Abraham got lucky. The question is, will Elliot get the ability to fire laser beams from his eyes, or FV5 beams from his eyes. The question is what powers Elliot THINKS Superman has. Because as we know, he's not exactly expert on superman ... or any other superhero.
  22. NP, Friday June 23, 2017

But Ellen's beams mimic the delivery method so well that they are for all intents and purposes Uryouom energy effects. The only thing we aren't sure of is whether an ellen-beam can stabilize a Greater Seynoulu the way a TF gun beam can. No reason to think it couldn't. Vladia is not convinced. Also, she doesn't have her antennae. (Isn't it nice how it's not only hypothetical question?)
  23. Story, Friday June 23, 2017

How about the fact that you are FORCED to do it. I think there are some authors like that What, you plan to burn all evidence instead? Christmas which year?
  24. NP, Friday June 23, 2017

Agreed. As the "Mistriss of Shrink", if anybody can reduce a horror to pocket size, and keep it there, it would be Rhoda. Possibly, but she's only been at it for probably 7 going on 8 months? Rhoda might be good, but as hkmaly stated before, there's a chance there's a vampire or two that are better. Yes ; I would assume that in the horde raining on Moperville, there would be both experienced vampires capable of resisting Rhoda and novices who wouldn't. If she would use guardian form, then definitely - because after using it she would be burned out whole day. I would expect she can shrink around dozen if they won't attack her at the same time ... I would also expect there will be more than dozen vampires. Luckily, Susan can summon multiple things at once now, so she may be able to arm herself, Nanase and Grace.
  25. NP, Friday June 23, 2017

Being magic users themselves, Vampires probably would resist Rhoda's shrinking spells fairly well. Being S-class magic user, Rhoda might been able to overcome their defense.
