He also said he makes no claim of truly understanding how the mind of such a thing works. Or minds. If applicable. So, some degree of plurality is possible. Which is why I don't think the magic would make fundamental change in what human is, which would probably be only way to invalidate Tedd's stored forms. (Note that necessary, speculation about nature of magic are going to be wilder than usual. Still, I think it is possible to get some results.)

What? While Tedd has spell to change default form, it is implied those are rare and enchantments are easier. So, more likely this is enchantment and it WILL wear off. Eventually. Probably even before Sarah and Raven get rid of magic clog. Rhoda is S-rank talent. Kitty may be not. So, not sure but yes it might happen. Note however that Luke is not aware magic marks may disappear, and if those two are spending time the way we assume, they will likely notice the magic mark AND if it will disappear later ...

Thinking about it more, maybe we should hold a competition. Sort of race. Kid who was never fed in other way than by breastfeeding in room with various items including food (fruit and so) and pair of teenagers who never heard about sex in room without videogames. Who will get it first? Hmmm ... that may be an issue. Parents are not ready for their kid to turn 9 when it already finishes college wouldn't surprise me much.
  4. NP: Friday February 24, 2017

There has been this persistent myth that keeping kids ignorant and uptight about sex will prevent them from actually having sex, I have no idea why it remains strong in the face of so much contrary evidence--maybe parents just like to keep their heads in the sand? It may be related to not believing in evolution. Because if you believe in Bible, sex is some "supplemental" idea and people needs to know about it (unlike animals, apparently), whereas if you DO believe in evolution, you would have nice example of hundred of thousand generations of people who all figured out how to have sex while the ones who didn't died out. Sure, some might be told. "Oook ook oooook". I think that assuming people won't have sex unless told about it is similar to assuming people won't eat unless told about it. That was bad idea to look up. Uh ... so, maybe the problem is that most parents are not aware of any encyclopedia which would explain it correctly?
  5. Yeah, but even so, the connection between Tedd's fashion choice and the game wasn't there so I included the image. Sure, I approve. I was telling it to mlooney. Note that without the game being specified, personally I would guess Team Fortress ... but apparently, female engineer is not in the game itself at all. With their variable settings, I would consider bad idea to use them for welding. What if you switch them by mistake?
  6. Well, I wouldn't want to see Susan get hurt like that but...I guess if the system did change, Jerry could use information like that to spark another angst induced awakening for her. While it can be different after the system change, there are better ways how to awaken person than major angst-induced awakening. The biggest clue we have is the tease from Dan on Twitter: That's from last May so he's most certainly had Ashley's internet ex-gf figured out long before Kitty was dreamed up. It also means (unless it's joke) that the girlfriend really IS someone we already know. Unless it's some character Dan has already prepared but didn't get to introduce her yet.
  7. So, yes, some video game thing. I'm cool with that. Note that Final Fantasy XV is directly mentioned in description, so unless it was added later, I would consider it obvious. I seriously doubt there is any kitchen job actually requiring this big wrench. No, this must be deliberate posing (and a good one). ... I suppose Tedd now has quite a lot forms for game characters ...
  8. On nudist beaches he would be overdressed. Based on MV5 story, it was a long and hard journey for her. That could happen. Assume that Tedd used his spell and went for "Extra Girly" as well. Maybe he went extra girly and THEN was zapped by Ellen's FV5? Or, well, maybe they don't stick on single theme THIS party and transform more often. Depends on how you define "knows about". Helena and Dimitrios know he exists. Sirleck knows he's desperate to get a new body and is willing to compromise his ethics to do it, but probably not his origins Pandora probably arranged his condition so she knows it all. Sirleck and Pandora are likely only ones knowing about him needing Elliot. Helena and Demetrius might SUSPECT that but don't know for sure. I don't want Pandora anywhere near either one of those jerks. I totally do. For example, I want Pandora's fist to be directly touching Voltaire's nose. Briefly but maybe multiple times. That does require her being near. Yes, I'm almost sure that if Pandora will get near those jerks beating will be involved.
  9. I'd be on board if we had any indication that Ashley's dad wasn't her real dad. Meanwhile, I wouldn't be on board of this. I'm afraid Susan would go on hammer spree after this. And I'm not sure HOW would Jerry find out. But it works as a joke.
  10. Story: Friday 24 Feb 2017

Why would you assume that magic can empower individuals to do things it itself cannot? Magic can have to deal with any number of limits besides what it can do. When it can do it comes to mind. The same reason I don't assume Einstein mom was better physics than him. Although, maybe bureaucracy is better way to think about it: the competences are divided in way which allows better control instead of based on level of power. Of course if you ask for my motivation, I'm trying to find way how to make Will of Magic less obviously OP. Or, considering this is story, less Mary Sue. There is precedence: Immortals have rules which limits what they can do. They are self-imposed, true. Maybe the Wills of Magic for various species agreed on some rules before as well. Although that would make them too similar to humans, and I still thinks that when Disco Wizard was describing will of magic he made it seem MORE human than it is, not less.
  11. Careful what you say there, you might spark a wild theory about Ashley's relation to Susan. Jerry: Ok, I confirmed it. Susan: So I really have sister? Jerry: (cough) ... Sisters. Susan: Two sisters? Jerry: Two ... hundred ... sisters. I'm sorry but your dad really went around.

AFAIK parents are only responsible in cases where they are expected to be present or aware of the child's action. If the kid receives alcohol in the parents' presence, or the parent is complicit in providing the alcohol, then the parent shares liability. If the kid goes off and gets alcohol in a manner in which the parents can not reasonably be expected to know about, then at worst the parents are liable simply for not knowing what their kid is up to. I was specifically responding to the "parents give kid wine" part. People can't seem to teach their dogs to behave in public at a high enough rate, why should they do any better with their kids? I would assume most kids are smarter than dogs ... although, would that make them easier to teach or harder? Eh, on campus most students walk or take the bus. They deliberately make it very expensive to have a car, otherwise they'd need about ten times the land just for everyone to park. Campus has a large number of bus routes, excellent bike paths, and plenty of sidewalks and paths. It's one of the things I really miss in the suburbs. ... there are pubs in campus? I didn't took the "college town" literally before. Maybe I should've. Note that the bus routes makes much more sense than everybody driving car anyway. It's just that in US it seems unusual.

To be honest I have no idea what the difference is between "Magic" and "The Will of Magic". I have no idea what one can do that the other can't. Obviously, I don't know anything sure either. But we know that Uryuom transformation are "technically magic" but not something Will of Magic is able or at least willing to change. I don't think there is anything "common-sense" on that assumption. If you assume Will of Magic is capable of anything magic can do, without any effort, it means it's god-like entity effectively playing with universe. In such case, the rules she abides to would be just play-rules to "make the game more interesting". It would still means there are rules. We don't know what is Will of Magic based on. It can be god-like being older than universe playing with it. Or it can be originally just set of simple rules which got sort-of-sentience because that's what magic does to abstract concepts (look at any Death, ideally Discworld one of course). Or something else, although these two seems like opposite ends of spectrum of possibilities to me.
  14. OK, it turns currently girls blonde. Makes currently boys in to brunettes. ;-) IMHO the "it's different blend of tea" hypothesis would win over this one in Occam razor based competition.
  15. Ashley is using a watch, so judging by the mismatched hair and tail colour (and ears match the tail) as well as her size and proportions, the watch likely has multiple effects. 1) She might be using multiple watches. 2) She might be designing those forms (too have the full experience). Or she found some sideefect people using that form previously didn't triggered for some reason. Actually, Dan specifically said "whole mess of body and mind bending transformations" ... but, yes, the mind-bending effect don't need to have anything to do with the physical look. Yes. The second one, "same color as her fur", I mean: if her hair are blonde, so should her tail and ears.

It's even worse: Grace has it from dream and Sarah from the crazy immortal girl who appeared before school. Not exactly reliable unless Tedd says EVERYTHING, and that might be bad idea. I considered that possibility myself. If Magic resets, then all the magical criminals they have to deal with will also be de-powered. So would DGB. I wouldn't consider it good idea considering they seem to be winning against those criminals ... I was under the assumption that Tedd didn't change back until just then. He still seemed to have breasts in the last panel of the previous comic. I think he's male in the sixth panel of previous comics already. But, yes, apparently Elliot was not paying attention to the voice ... ... and they still don't know Tedd's anger was enhanced by Magus back then, do they?
  17. Story: Friday 24 Feb 2017

Agree, I think that the explanation is something along the lines of limiting to "natural" forms. Only with the addition that humans are apparently not "natural" form by that religion, which makes LOT of sense. The scanner likely uses OOP as well. The scanner CAN'T be used to make clone form without Tedd's programming on the TF gun. Reminder: There is nothing known to be outside Magic's ability besides time-travel (into the past). You are mixing up magic and Will of Magic. Sure, it would technically be possible to rewrite universe that way with magic, just like it will be possible to change Uryuoms. But it would be outside what is Will of magic allowed to do - not ABLE to do, it's question of competence (although she may not be ABLE to do it either, it's possible it can't really USE all magic it sets laws for). I think that Dan might not be as good in programming as Tedd is. Common problem of most sci-fi and fantasy writers: lacking knowledge their characters obviously have. In fact, most sci-fi and fantasy writers are worse that their characters not only in area of knowledge, but also strength, dexterity, constitution, wisdom, charisma and intelligence; nevertheless, we still enjoy reading about such characters too much to wait for actual real-live demigod to write about them
  18. The Dan does say that wearing clothes was becoming futile, so my head canon is the next frame would be awesome and clothing less. He said "gradually". So probably more than one frame.
  19. Did you saw her as Otter before or after this Ashley-otter? I think Grace looks better. That two-color combination on Ashley is weird. On the other hand, it's Ashley's first try at squirrel. She needs more experience. And less clothing Remember, clothes on fur is weird. EDIT: ... didn't occurred to me.
  20. Note that I was reminded recently Ashley WAS in color in canon once. Was it really her first cup? Agree: bigger bobbies wouldn't be better AND flip-flops would make more sense.
  21. NP: Monday February 27, 2017

I expected at least LITTLE more effort on her part than just saying "poof". I'm surprised he didn't considered the option of being her catboy. But maybe he knows very well that being catgirl is his only chance ... ... and on top of that, his eyes looks as if she's mind-controlled, but hopefully it's just surprise. I'm still not sure WHY would catgirl spell change outfit so much, even if BOTH have such fetish. That's why it's important to have packet filter in your firewall.
  22. NP: Friday February 24, 2017

Interesting. So in US, parents are not expected to be responsible. (It's probably right, you shouldn't expect so much ...) It definitely makes much more sense than US governments attempts to prevent children seeing boobies. Putting aside your age, what about designated drivers?

"But surely the drug companies can pay for all that expensive research! Why should government get involved?" And people wonder why drugs are so expensive and research is so meager and erratic. Just because the drug companies CAN pay it doesn't mean they WILL. And, yes, whoever pays for the research is setting up priorities. If the drug companies are paying it, the priorities would be based on how they can get more money. IV fluids are more than just water. Blood and other body fluids are a certain concentration, and we have to add enough electrolytes (and/or sugars) to make the fluids the same concentration, or bad thigns happen. And yes, they have to be sterilized, which means most third world countries can't afford very much of them. I know and I actually wanted to say "are not made from contaminated water" ... although, maybe the contaminated water would have correct osmotic pressure Unfortunately, there isn't a waiting line, where all bacteria become resistant to one antibiotic and then the next. Even simple penicillin, the antibiotic in use the longest, still has plenty of cases where it's perfectly usable. Bacteria can both gain and lose resistances over time. ... and what's unfortunate on it? Bacterias are getting most resistant to the antibiotics most often overused (assuming every antibiotics is similarly easy to develop resistance on, which is not true, and not counting effects of location). Therefore, it makes sense to only use new antibiotics which bacteria are not resistant to yet only in important cases (like when curing infections caused by those resistant bacterias) and using the most overused antibiotics (which may not be penicillin, maybe because while oldest, penicillin is hard to use - needs to be taken often - and maybe it's also one of those harder-to-get-resistant ones) in "preventive" cases like viral infections or as "growth promotants". The problem with them is that they kill bad bacteria and normal flora, which allows later bad bacteria to more easily fill the niche left vacant by the normal bacterial flora. If you can prove that, contact FDA. Seems that their latest concern is that there’s no data demonstrating that these drugs provide additional protection from diseases and infections. In short, major problem with those anti-bacterial soaps is that they were called anti-bacterial by marketing, not by scientists. ... Hmmm, what exactly is Susan using?

Do you really require ID if friend buys you drink? Between his look and enthusiasm, I would guess Elijah is younger than Rick. But, yes, it's wild guess.
