      Welcome!   03/05/2016

Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change.  If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away.  I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

    A WILD ZORUA REAPPEARS!
    Hi everyone. How's life?
Also, it's weird to see Hack without the Mr. Raven icon. Creepy...
And I don't think I gave you a Newbie Pack before the forum went belly-up on us. You and about one or two others, I think. Ah well. Something to think about.
Oh, and I think I have something laying around here... Ah. Here it is. Lemme dust this off, throw in some new words, and...

WYSIWYG is short for "What You See Is What You Get" meaning if you see bold text when you type it, you get bold text when you post it.
You don't see the coding required to accomplish that formatting unless you click on Source.

Speaking from experience working on the backend of another forum - When Robin says we're starting fresh, he means FRESH. The forum is starting from scratch due to the accident regarding the old server and its hard drives.

Now - speaking personally as an IT tech primarily and admin/server maintainer on another forum secondarily - it should be possible to get the old forum data from the old server drives, BUT that will take a fair bit of time (and probably money) depending on the level of technical work needed to be done to rescue the data. Whilst it would be nice to get it all back, there likely WILL be a point where the cost-benefit ratio doesn't work in favour of getting the data back.

This is useful information, and should probably be in a separate thread, maybe in the General section.

Good luck with recovery. There are definitely posts I would like preserved.
Meanwhile, can you get the option of editing the source back? I mean, write the posts in bbcode instead of WYSIWYG.

Yes, this please. BBCode or basic HTML or something other than in addition to WYSIWYG. (I'd also take Markdown).
Also, there's a bit of a bug in the profile area. When putting in date of birth, both the first two boxes are the month of birth...and no option for the day. And it throws an error if you don't put at least the month and the day.
Good luck with the data recovery. I'd like to see some of the stuff preserved as well.
EDIT: Also, another bug report: The "Location" info underneath the user's post count has formatting issues. If you just put "Texas - USA" in the box, for instance, what appears to show is "LocationTexas - USA". So I had to put ": Texas - USA" to make it look right.
Maybe a bug report forum / subforum would be a good idea?
EDIT2: Also, I know this is probably a big ask, but is there any possibility of a dark theme (Grey or black) being offered? I like the general design and layout, but the bright white is quite blinding.

Elliot, would you PLEASE reference your spellbook more? Maybe on-panel, so we know what your spells are?
