You did? I am disappointed in you. I did not merely dislike him. I loathed him. So much. There were a few good Jake Sisko stories and one outstandingly brilliant one, but every single episode where Jake tried to be a reporter made me gag whenever he appeared on the screen. About the comic itself: I love the character interactions. Poor Diane. And Justin is actually being pretty big in trying to calm her and giving her helpful advice.

And they run on those? My goodness. I have new respect for them now. I thought the current quad core CPUs ran on microchips, not transistors.

That reminds me of a time I was sent off to the supermarket with a list that, among other things, instructed me to buy bleach. Only the handwriting was not very legible so it looked like it said 'blech'. That made it a bit of guesswork as I could think of quite a few products that gave me that reaction, just not any good reason to buy any of them.

Sad to say, you ain't seen nuthin' yet. We have several old coots in here who argue about the good old days where computers ran on transistors and a mobile phone meant one you unplugged from the wall and moved to a room with a different socket.
