Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change. If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away. I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

Once she learns of Rhoda’s powers, she should get Rhoda to shrink her temporarily. A Rhoda-sized (or slightly smaller) Lucy would be cute to see.

I was thinking more along the lines of them being simpler subjects to understand for a beginner, before they move on to more complex material.
-
Politicians make excellent subjects for beginners’ anatomy classes: they have no brains, no spines, no hearts, no guts, and no balls.

Taped-together glasses are less of a “nerd” thing than they are an “I’m too broke to pay for new frames” thing.

Discussion of Military, real or fictional
ijuin replied to The Old Hack's topic in Off Topic Discussion
First of all, shooting from the hip instead of using the sights is dumb unless you’re at point-blank range—and that optical sight appears to be out of alignment with the front and rear iron sights. Also, the forward grip on that thing is terrible. -
True, but it seems as of late that the GOP declares all opponents to be insane without exception, based more on the fact that they are opponents than on any coherent expression of policy.

On a squeezebox? Not bad for a piece made for a full pipe organ.

Well yes, but in this case I was referring to the relatively centrist Lieberman having been described by his detractors as an arch-liberal. I do not think that there has been a Presidential/Vice-Presidential nominee for the Democratic Party since JFK whom the Republican Party has NOT screamed is unpalatably left-wing.

Those on the Right Wing would have us believe that anyone an inch to the Left of them is an extremist nutjob.

So, it looks like Sarah was hanging out with Sam.

But you can call her Princess Angelina Francesca Regina Contessa Banana-fana-fo-fesca III.

It’s also simply a matter of both Jay and Hope being super socially awkward, and thus needing the artificial support of a social event in order to be able to introduce themselves to “new” people.

Probably have to constantly give it chemicals to suppress its hormones, like a plant version of birth control pills.

My brother says it the other way around—he says that kitty kibble is cereal for cats.

Given what we know, the majority of the tournament players are probably viewers of Susan and Elliot’s review show, so it’s like seeing a favorite television actress show up. Tensaided has also been praising her to this crowd, as seen in https://www.egscomics.com/comic/2014-09-05

Jay is also reasonably close to being on the right track with the non-binary guess.
-
That is probably one reason why most Immortals don’t try to keep so much memory when resetting.
-
I am thinking that an Immortal who marks a person leaves some detectable trace behind, so they effectively have Pandora’s “fingerprints” on them.
-
Tedd is the sort of person who must be seen to be believed.

In https://www.egscomics.com/comic/2009-12-18 Adrian stated that it had been fourteen years since she had spoken to him, which would have put their last meeting before Noah was taken in—and before Damien had killed Noah’s parents. Pandora may have observed Adrian since then, but she had not shown herself to him.

True. The main thrust of my argument is that Hope needs to establish a cover identity with paper trail included if she wants to have access to the full range of human endeavors, and she apparently has not done that yet, as evidenced by her paying with cash instead of a bank card.

Meh, there are several tyrants in our current world (Kim Jong-Un, Vladimir Putin, and others), but none of them seem to be using arcane power either to achieve or to maintain their tyranny.

Non-burner cell phones generally require that you have some form of verifiable identification, since the phone companies have caught on that anybody who wants to avoid being identified to the degree of not even disclosing a billable mailing address, bank account, or a state ID card is likely up to something criminal.

It depends on the purpose. Casual storage, such as copying your vacation photos, needs to be easily written using consumer-grade equipment. On the other hand, doom-proofing the history and culture of your civilization so that people thousands of years later will be able to read it, can be done using more difficult and durable methods, e.g. the aforementioned analog records formed out of solid metal.

Tensaided was also apparently not lucid in the shared dreamscape.
