Yesterday, I went into the bank to deposit a cheque, and the lady there showed me how to do it with a Smart ATM. Impressed, I asked if all of the bank's ATMs could do it and she replied: "Only if it says Smart ATM. If it says Dumb ATM, no it can't".

Granted, but something better comes out rendering it obsolete, and while everyone else upgrades, you are stuck with the obsolete stuff. I wish for Pokemon Sun and Moon to be good games.

That must suck, and I know how it feels to have customers or clients who just do things you know are horribly wrong. I work as an accountant, and I know several clients who do not seem to realise that constantly buying and selling shares (IMO, that's almost outright gambling) are a surefire way to lose money. Makes me think my little sister's two cats are quite lucky compared to other pet cats. When one got sick, our mother took him to the vet immediately. Vet said it was an allergy reaction by the way, meaning he isn't allowed outside much because he's allergic to something even if we aren't sure what it is.

Her ability to predict how long she'll sleep and be off by less than a minute worries me greatly, especially when applied to more malevolent uses.

I have trouble going to bed when I just have no work the next day. But yes, I try to avoid heated arguments on the internet because your reason is one of two reasons I avoid them, that occasionally, I get too emotionally attached to the argument and the position I'm arguing from, irrespective of how toxic the argument becomes. The other reason is that where I don't get too emotionally attached, it is very easy to see when the argument becomes increasingly toxic and the sooner you're out, the better.
