Huh. That wig and glasses combo, for whatever reason, is giving me a really strong Emperor's New Groove vibe.

Is it just me, or does Feathergrace sound like it could be used as an actual Pokemon name. It just kinda has that feel to it.

Aside from the things in Dan's linked to in the commentary to imply previous strange things, it should also be noted that they don't work for the government, or at least not the same agency as Edward, as he doesn't recognize them and is equally stranged out by their surprising acceptance of the situation.

Am I the only one who think Ashley's genie outfit makes her look a little like Caulifla from Dragon Ball Super? It was somehow the first thing that came to mind when I saw her like that.

I'm looking at the subtle cues in the art here and... Tedd said they preferred the male form for now, right? Am I looking too much into the line strokes?

Part of my mind is telling me that this, given the context, could be a desire spell. Like, Kitty's magic unconsciously read Robbie's (as that is what i'm calling him now because he looks like the Gravity Falls character to me) mind and granted his wants at the appropriate moment in Kitty's recount.

Think we could find a slightly bigger house off campus and throw in Catalina, Rhoda, Ashley, Diane, and Psych Major Pandora? I would watch the hell out of this sitcom.
  8. Story Friday January 13, 2017

What title, out of interest. Last I checked it didn't have one.

Perhaps something Sarah could think about if she actually awakens then.
  10. Story: Friday, October 28, 2016

Here's a thought I just had. Can Sarah 'save' iterations of her internal "holodeck" or customize them to the extreme. The obvious connotations of why someone would do that are lewd, so i'm going to leave that your imaginations and skip to the one I thought of next. Imagine that Sarah develops some kind mind-palace/important object storage place. Being able to save iterations, she slowly constructs this area out of pieces of other simulations she goes into, taking walls, floors, furniture and the like to create an ideal environment in which she can think clearly should she need to. Within this environment, she also stores image replicas of anything important the main cast comes across. Say for example they came across a macguffin that was split into multiple parts, but they couldn't take the piece they had with them for safety reasons, so Sarah makes a copy of it, so when they find the other piece, she can take a copy of that piece into her 'customised mindspace' and put them together manually to see if they connect. Sorry, went a bit far with that. But seriously, Sarah being able to 'save' simulation instances would be an interesting concept.

Firstly, i'm going with the parallel universe theory so far, or something like that. Also, the 'abberation/vampire' in panel 3 looks like their head is that of a llama to me, and shall henceforth be dubbed 'Llamaration'!
  12. NP, Wednesday August 24, 2016

True, but if it were 'in the now', wouldn't the reference be to Gen 7 Pokemon. That said, Gen 6 wasn't that long ago so it wouldn't be a stretch, but I choose to stand by my own time logic on this matter.

    ...am I missing something here?
  14. NP, Wednesday August 24, 2016

This comic gives me food for thought in regards to time setting/the timeline. Initially it was that this couldn't possibly be set in 2013 (or 2002) anymore because this is October, and I thought Pokemon XY came out in November. But it actually came out in early October, so that really makes it being something that'd be in Ashley's immediate thoughts far more likely, since it just came out. I like to imagine that Dan did this on purpose to hint at setting (since the timeline on the wiki gives estimated years, partially due to my input), but who knows how often he actually looks at that thing.

Heh. I can see that, actually. That being said, the aforementioned bottom left mark (that looks like a light and dark contrast, really), though abstract, does kind of remind me of a book, and even though this comic is just Elliot misunderstanding what Ashley meant, it is food for thought...
