NP Comic for Saturday, August 20, 2022 Huh, George is socially adept, so why is he a loner? How does Justin know that about Nanase? It's come up in casual conversation before? I think "I'll help you win this <RPG>." is going into my bag of quotes to abuse. While in this context it indicates 'doesn't quite get the concept', 'I'm going to win this RPG' seems to be a hurdle some folks can't get past. The solution is, of course, "Rock falls, everybody dies."

NP Comic for Thursday, August 18, 2022 Hmm. Not convinced this makes sense. She's been acting for her mom a lot. Acting has a lot to do with confidence, which she has in spades. She's shown she has no issue performing in public in her martial arts. Not seeing where she would disconnect and be specifically bad at acting; ... ... especially when it does not demand memorizing a set performance upon a stage - merely for an RPG.

NP Comic for Tuesday, August 16, 2022 ... comic makes the point that George is a loner, and Nanase has some yet unstated issue. The shadowy background figures in panel 2 are interesting. I guess that's a book cover? Back in the day, it might have been an LP. George does not strike me as a vinyl hipster.

NP Comic for Thursday, August 11, 2022 No, Ellen, as mistakes go, this is a minor one. Worst case, Rich goes home pissed off, and for him, that's not such a stretch either way, so small consequences. But if you really feel that way, you could always beam him.

I wonder if it replaces her original Fairy Doll spell, or if she just accidentally activated the clothing-change sub-spell without entering "proper" fairy form. It doesn't seem to be what Dan's going for, but it also would have been fun if she had created a new human-sized body (with her original body still being there as well, as with her normal fairy doll spell), and when she returned to her original body she was left with a life-size doll of herself.

NP Comic for Tuesday, June 28, 2022 Is George reluctant to poke that particular bear, or bears in general? While particular bears may be more intimidating than the average bear, poking bears does not seem like a survival trait. One would venture to guess that the set {people who like to poke bears} would tend to be self limiting. At least with actual bears. Maybe she should have been named Jack?

NP Comic for Saturday, June 18, 2022 George is working on painting himself into a corner. He's kind of an interesting character, but i am not getting what his deep motivation is. ... Doesn't trust people, isolates himself, thus somewhat lacking in social skills, so, instead of having a conversation and asking questions, he imagines how things are and gives his imaginings too much weight as a valid model of reality. Hmm, this explains so much, and not just about George ...

Comic for Monday January 17, 2022 I don't think I recall Nanase being that angry before. She generally thinks before she reacts. I wonder what Edward's reason is, but I bet it has to do with Nanase's safety. If so, in my opinion, he's being overly protective. He should by now be aware that they've been in the presence of the griffins and survived without him. It could be that he is specifically overly protective of her due to a connection to Noriko, and having let her put herself in danger in a similar situation where they were working together. Recall his reaction to Abraham. In a professional sense, he kind of needs to get over it. Nanase's willingness to cut the conversation off when she became aware of Edward listening says she is aware that he has some issue. If she said she would be there, will the griffins be offended if she is not. If Edward is present, and we've seen that he is, will they take his presence as betrayal, having not been introduced to him?

NP Comic Thursday December 30, 2021 Last NP of 2021. No characters caught COVID-19. I want to see Dan draw a bull carp. Maybe a bull space carp. Ellen is not wrong, although missing the point that general expectations are not an unreasonable thing, otherwise you don't really have a 'society'; she might be more correct saying sometimes societal expectations can be unreasonable. She is experienced in the sense of having Elliot's memories, but that seems to be a step removed; similarly her dream world. Of all the main characters, we have never seen her as a male.

I must admit I needed to search for that. And it seems the party is very much for Ashley ... well, ok, the movie IS relevant to the magic which is topic of party, but I'm pretty sure everyone already saw that movie. Multiple times. Probably even Susan. And on Elliot's place, I would be at least little uncomfortable with my bisexual girlfriend bonding over romance with someone else like that. Especially considering she CAN have squirrel romance with Grace. Also, I would hope that Ashley's wizard training will be different, but truth is transformations are likely to be important part of it if Tedd is supposed to help at all ... well, at least not the upsetting ecosystems bit.

Also, you are still trying too hard to get Ashley's approval. Also, I hope Dan wouldn't be working on weight loss too long. If the recent writer's block issues are caused by hunger ... Note: Anybody knows where that hu-mon thing is from? I know mispronouncing human was used for Ferengi in Star Trek but that's unlikely to be first case.
