https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-16 The sixteenth comic of a story released on the sixteenth of the month? That's got to be worth a cookie or two . . . - - - A thoughtful exploration of a topic that withholds judgement and accepts anyone who claims to be in a group as a member of that group? This is highly objectionable!

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-13 My reality is relative and subjective What ever I think is right is right and there is no need for discussion and debate If you do not agree with me completely, you are wrong

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-10 Careful Elliot, You're likely to get hit with a couch if you upset your Girlfriend on This show - - - But I can already see nitpics the "Real Fans" of this show will be pointing out First, fan has more than one printed definition Second, different dictionary publishers have different sets of deffinitions Also, when was this dead tree dictionary published? Even the newest printed edition will be a little out of date. If this is the same Dictionary your mother was using in high school, we really can't be sure of anything. Remember, English Language Dictionaries are descriptive, not prescriptive. They do not declare what the correct spelling, pronunciation, and definition of a word must be Rather, they attempt to distill from the broadest possible scope of all English Language users what those things currently are

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-14 If people are fans of the thing of which I say I am a fan, but they like it for different reasons, then the powers-that-be may produce more of that of which we both say we are fans, but with more of the aspects others like and less of what I enjoy So the only way I can protect what I enjoy is to keep others who do not agree with me from enjoying anything about that of which I am a Real Fan Or become a multi trillionaire, buy all the rights and and royalties, and sign every essential writer, producer, director, technician, and actor to a iron-clad, insanely long term, contract . . . . On the other hand . . . If I become a multi trillionaire, I think I can learn to tolerate whatever Hollywood happens to produce without sinking my fortune into the La Brea Tar Pit

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-12 So it doesn't matter why someone likes something, or what specifically they like about something As long as that person is enthusiastic about what they like, they are a fan - - - I am certain that all real fans of EGS will agree with this completely And anyone who disagrees is not a real fan

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-09 Can you like some aspect of something without being a fan? Can two fans of something enjoy different aspects of that thing? For example, I am a fan of Cecil B DeMille's 1956 epic The Ten Commandments I also enjoyed the Book on which it was based There are people who do not share my opinion of the Book who did like the movie Which of us are not the real fans?

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-11 Isn't this some sort of video challenge? Go on camera, start reading the dictionary out loud, and see how long your audience remains?

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-08 Remember Susan, for at least half a dozen years, Elliot was Mute & Perverted Tedd's only friend Even if Elliot didn't want to see certain anime, he saw them
-
https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-07 That is a very specific and strange contrarian opinion to use as an example, Susan How in the world would an idea like that even occur to you, unless... Oh Carp Susan IS in favor of Oil Spills

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-04 So Susan starts a rant she probably knows can only bore or offend almost anyone watching while Elliot exercises his goofball skills? Well, at least it isn't a video game play story - - - (Waits for Susan's rant to become mostly about video games)

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/forreals-02 This isn't the first time we've had a story where someone recognized Susan from the Review Show But the last time was to introduce Sarah and Elliot's Break Up Let's see how Diane's Auntie Social handles internet celebrity status

https://www.egscomics.com/comic/balance-060 Catalina thinks Susan would have Ice Magic? What a surprise Time to summon a hammer
-
Story here. "Subtlety" is Susan's middle name. Or not. As a side issue, what kind of ads are you guys seeing? Apparently, I desperately need to know about string trimmers and chain saws.
-
Story here. Susan's later career as a monster hunter was cut short when the monsters discovered she could be totally discombobulated by the mere mention of "things."

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/teddgameopinions-038 This is also true for movies and television set in medieval or fantasy settings. And the reciprocal cliché of everything in a future or sci-fi setting being shiny and new can be equally annoying... ... ... Okay, WHAT IS UP WITH CATALINA'S HAT!?
-
https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/teddgameopinions-036 So if the game is silly, skimpy & sexy armor is not a real concern But if the game is serious, the armor should look like it would do the intended job? This may be too confusing for me
-
https://www.egscomics.com/comic/balance-042 No doubt about it, Susan is cool But a random observer may perceive her as cold And it seems that several Immortals, as well as the Will of Magic itself, are about as random as can be imagined Even a little Ice Magic could save several people in danger of heat stroke during a Midwest Heat Wave And the Ice Witch will be humanity's champion and emissary when our new Penguin Overlords march north to claim their rightful place over human government

https://www.egscomics.com/comic/balance-039 Of course Sarah likes Pineapple on Pizza Everyone likes Pineapple on Pizza Unless they don't Beware people who REALLY do not like pineapple on pizza. That kind of person might just throw a couch at you if you even suggest putting pineapple on pizza. - - - - - As for the plan? You want them to reveal secrets to you before asking them to keep even bigger secrets? Yes, I'm sure that will go well

https://www.egscomics.com/comic/party-164 Turns out Monday comics was NOT finished during the day The quote is from The Die is Cast, said by Chief O'Brien to Doctor Bashir. I must admit I needed to search for that. And it seems the party is very much for Ashley ... well, ok, the movie IS relevant to the magic which is topic of party, but I'm pretty sure everyone already saw that movie. Multiple times. Probably even Susan. And on Elliot's place, I would be at least little uncomfortable with my bisexual girlfriend bonding over romance with someone else like that. Especially considering she CAN have squirrel romance with Grace. Also, I would hope that Ashley's wizard training will be different, but truth is transformations are likely to be important part of it if Tedd is supposed to help at all ... well, at least not the upsetting ecosystems bit.

https://www.egscomics.com/comic/party-163 Did Grace made her boobs even bigger to distract Diane from Susan's name? Seems it's working. Also, yes, the name Jay being masculine DOES seem suspicious, ESPECIALLY with the clarification mentioning that "Jack" was rejected BECAUSE there was female named Jack in Mass Effect 2 ... Oh, and yes, Grace made the point about how ineffective rumor would the big boobs be ...

https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-112 I wonder, will this make Susan start taking clothes seriously or at least get some? Wasn't she supposed to search for hero of range now?
-
https://www.egscomics.com/egsnp/parable-106 In The Author's own words... May we indulge in some plot resolution?
-
https://www.egscomics.com/comic/party-151 Ok, so which reader complain is Susan voicing? Oh. It's in the commentary. '"Multiple". Right. Also, Sarah leaning against the sofa like that might be interesting but it also suggest that they are standing suboptimally. Personally, I didn't have problem with previous version but I totally agree that English is bad for this. In fact, it's already bad for trans people and this is another level. Also for non-binary people. And yes, it would be problem with most if not all human languages. Another thing which human languages are ill-equipped to dead with is time travel. Technically, English has more than enough tenses for that, but it still doesn't work correctly. Hopefully, when time travel becomes as common as trans and non-binary people today, we will manage to extend English more logically than we now do with non-binary people. Seriously, singular they is NOT the best option, the precedent of replacing thou with singular you notwithstanding ... (of course, seems most people who use it prefer it to alternatives so we likely end with it ...)
