The solution is clearly speed tic-tac-toe. No turn order, just a start signal and then the players just put down noughts or crosses as fast as they can, winner takes all. Bonus points for successfully punching the opponent in the face.

Your suggestion is the basis for how tic-tac-toe is used in a more meaningful way; put some sort of challenge in the mechanism for placing your mark. Hollywood Squares. I think I've seen it with darts.

You seem to forget that this is like golf, you want a low score.  At least in theory any way.

One of my favorite shows when it was running. Good for 600 episodes.

He's had a couple of pretty good ones. His discussion shows, like Talking Dead aren't bad. Like Wil Wheaton, he embraces being a nerd and kicks butt at it.

Didn't one of the D&D editions allow a Cleric to get lower level spells as a priest of himself?

I'm guessing that if such a cleric survived, succeeded, and attracted a congregation, he would have proved his divinity to whatever Pantheon inhabited the game world.

1st (or maybe 2nd Ed) let a cleric cast 1st and 2nd level spells based on their training as a cleric.  3rd and above were from their deity.  That wasn't really canon as it happens, but was in one of the books about pantheons.    It's been too many years since I played 1st ed.  Canon was, of course you could be a cleric of "good" or some other non religious nature.

One thing I learned during my trip to Las Vegas: my ass routinely sets off the TSA's bomb screening devices. I have no idea why.

There is a fart joke somewhere in there some place.

I am just now learning that one of my wife's legs set off the machine on the way back from Las Vegas. She didn't bother to tell me until last night.

As for my own "armed and dangerous" ass antics, I have to wonder about a pain relieving procedure I had done earlier this year. The doctor injected me in the spine to kill some of the peripheral nerves while I was under anesthesia. Now, did he accidentally break off a tiny bit of needle tip while he was in there? That's the only explanation for setting off the TSA's machines that I can come up with.
