I consider myself an educated US citizen. I rarely lapse into calling myself an "American" because there's three Americas. I keep tabs on geopolitics. I have friends in other countries. But I know next to nothing about the nations east of Germany. Seriously, outside of a university, common knowledge about the non-Franco-Germanic Europe is next to nil. So now I know about Twardowski and the spider. Now I would like to know how all those z's in Polish words are pronounced... Oh, wait I know, the guy what wrote the Witcher novels is from Poland! See, I'm not in an isolated bubble!
There aren't too many facial expressions that leap out at me (which is something I like), but that srsface in the last panel just cracked me up. I also have to admit that I didn't even notice that you typed in a font until you mentioned it. Good that you put effort into the lettering, it allows a more analog expression of emotion, but it's never really been high up on the list of things I pay attention to. You could make a font out of your handwriting and leave spaces blank for drawing words emotively and I'd be none the wiser.
Thanks for reminding me that I have a lot to learn.
