The new book will be called Atonement. This is the new chapter page & I have kids home from school & complaining about being bored already ("So clean your rooms & pick up your mess in the basement!" "We're not THAT bored.") So the next couple of pages might be a bit late, or not ... I can't predict that yet. Neither could I predict finding the National Geographic magazine about solar flares right after I sent this to Snuffy (who's currently getting home from a Con in Chicago - Have fun, big guy?)

Do let us know what you think of how we're doing, and what we can do to improve. I've been practicing whenever i can to better my drawing, but some things take time.

Oh, and this book will have explosions.

The very last line started just as a comment from me to Frith, but ended up being used in the comic.

Oops.
The comic is up, after missing a week. You see, I was too polite to bother Frith about it not showing up (because he had injured his foot and was having trouble getting around) and he was too polite to ask me where it was... But when he sent the NEXT one, I finally figured it out.
I guess the email gremlins ate the first one.
So yeah, we're going to have some different groups doing things at the same time.

Yeah, I busted my foot by doing something stupid. I don't need it for drawing, but the studio is upstairs & I wasn't for awhile. THen, this past week our AC motor suddenly stopped. We've done what we can, but with the AC repair guy on backlog & the temps bouncing around the 100ºF mark (39ºC) we've been spending as much time as possible where the cool is.

Fortunately, that did not include a trip to the midnight showing of "Dark Knight Rises" a town or two over on Friday night.

Yes, Aurora, CO is about 30-40 miles from my house. As near as I can tell no one here knew any of the victims but my heart & prayers still go out to the families of all involved.

So, if I seem quiet it's usually cause I'm very very busy with RL or just too blown down by the heat to type anything.

That poor bear (his name is Bobby) is really trying hard to make a break into the lucrative field of web-comics, so he begged for a line, any line, to include in his resume. I asked him what he would say in a situation like this.

He's trying out for a role at another (I promised to not name it yet) CMX comic, but will still be around here for next week. He's also good with the kids and very profient with the BBQ.

Just don't ask him to drive your car or take out your garbage.

I know where I'd want to be in this situation --- a couple of states over.

Btw: the vacation was fun, but more eventful than we anticipated. If a pheasant flies into a car window anytime in the future, you'll know where the idea came from.

There's a page missing - it looks as though you reused the same file url for last week and the week before that. I will admit that I am glad the comic villains sequence is over - I found it very confusing.

Sorry for not replying earlier - I have been sick with a nasty cold.
I can't find anywhere with a page missing. Do you still see a problem if you look at it again? If so, which pages(s) and what language?

I've also looked & can't find any missing pages. Snuffy & I have both been dealing with poor health this winter so it's possible that something may have glitched. I usually catch his slip ups & tell him before Sunday morning but I may have missed one too.

BTW: Thanks for reading & the input. How was the sequence confusing? Since no one is telling me anything I'm sort of doing this all by feel & guesswork.

There used to be a page labeled #32 between http://www.littlelev...lish&comic=0321 (labeled #31) and http://www.littlelev...lish&comic=0322 (labeled #33). That's the page where they actually picked up Ken, and the girls find the money that fell out of his briefcase. It's missing in both languages.

I am finding a number of the recent sequences to be confusing. You might just have too many characters - I'm losing track of whose side some people are on, and complex plots are hard to maintain with massive skips between panels. Wrt the cartoon villains:

page 28: somebody stepped in - not sure whose side they're on. Bluto holds a gun in panel one - and then sports swords in panel two. Huh? How did Boris and Snidely get "our stuff" if there was a second group of villains led by Darth Vader?

page 29: And then the Keystone Kops arrest the first group of villains but talk about somebody going after the second?

page 30: No idea what's going on here

page 31: Ken has no key and cannot unlock the case, but it suddenly opens by itself?

page 32: GONE

page 33: ?? Too many things happening at once.

BTW, I know we're supposed to be suspending belief but... 14 billion degrees below zero? That's not just a question of physics needing to be written. Even if such a thing were possible, how do you even theoretically measure a temperature below absolute zero?
