Forcing myself to stay out of bed and try to do “mormal” morning stuff did not work.  I'm taking NhyQuill and going back to bed.  Hopefully I will actually be better in the morning.

In addition to an upset tummy (you wouldn't think that cheese and broccoli soup would do that), my right hip decided that now was a good time to flare up again. Me and Explorer are staying in bed for a while.

I set out to get up, eat breakfast, drink tea.  Not happening.  Finishing tea and going to keep my knees straight.  There is no weather related reason (at least none that I can see) causing them to hurt, but both hurt like a major storm is coming.

I got up for lunch as I need to have 350 caliores with the drug that keeps me from hearing thing.  My knees and right hip started to complain again.  Gonna go back to keeping them flat.

I ordered a crap ton of stuff from the River Store early this morning.  6 of the purchases went through.  4 didn't.  I have over $1,000 on that card.  I made a purchase on another site.  It went through.  Rent and fiber went through. (Thank all things lawful good.)   I deleted the things that didn't go through and retried them.  The failed again.  The River Store says I have to talk to my bank about why they are failing.  I called DirectExpress.  They are having heavier than normal call volume right now and hung up on my ass.  Why do I think that something is going wrong with DE?  I'm gonna ignore the failed purchases for 24 hours, then try again.  <has bad thought> OK, I tired buying something from DriveThruRPG.  It went through, so the card isn't dead, but for some reason The River Store is semi-rejecting it.  To add to my issues, I'm out of my prostate pills and my drug store is closed for Independents Day, so it's gonna be Monday before I can get those refilled.  Of all the drugs I take, those are the least important, so that's just an irritant, not a panic.  And it's hot.  At least my knees are in good shape, even if my right hip is a little sore.

I'm gonna ignore the whole thing until Monday.  With any luck, things will have shaken out by then.  If not, I'm gonna see what I have to do to transfer my account to the credit union and get a credit union debit card again.  DirectExpress is getting far too flaky for me to deal with given my general mental health issues.

The River Store and Direct Express are playing nice with each other now. All the orders are showing up as charges on the DE website, and I haven't gotten a nastygram from The River Store about payment issues.

I have a headache. . My hip hurts. My left knee is throbbing. The drugs are only sort of working,

I am taking a break from doing anything more complex than staying flat on my back for a while. I may nap, assuming the pain lets me.

I did, and Explorer was next to me most of the time.  She's half way on my chest right now, making typing a little tricky, but meh, I can deal.

About three hours ago, I had a bolt-out-of-the-blue panic attack. My anxiety drugs are fairly mild. I took them and got under the weighted blanket. Feeling a little better now.

I have a “normal, both sides of the head” headache and lower back pain.  I'm waiting on the acetaminophen to kick in.  At least it's not a migraine with knee pain, which is what I had yesterday.
As a side note, if you overbrew Campbell's tea, it's really freaking strong.  Should make me be able to concentrate enough to pack boxes once I stop having back pain.

It's the 3rd of the month, when I have money again.  I need to pay my rent.  They only take cash (I suspect that there may be some hinky tax things going on.) I went across the stroad to use the ATM.  It's almost out of money and is giving only $20 at a time. I'm not pulling $660 out of it $20 at time. I'm going to finish my mug of tea and then walk down to the one on the university campus and hope it has money.

Google Maps lied to me. There is no ATM in the student union.  I had to do a total walk of 2.34 miles (3.77 km) to the nearest ATM with money in it.  The good news is that I was able to pull all the $660 out in one transaction.  Rent paid, so there is that.

I have a largeish medical bill to pay off. I've been making monthly payments on the 5th. I noticed that I didn't get tagged this month or last month.  I went to the website and got a “Something went wrong” message.  I found my most recent payment email and clicked on the “access your account” button and got the same thing. It's their problem now.  They have my correct email address.  They can ping me if and when they get their shit together.  I checked the regular hospital website and went to the pay my bill thing and got a $0.00 current balance. It almost makes me think I've been scammed.  I'll see if I get a paper bill or not.

#1stworld-problem.  I noticed that the charge on my “stop me from hearing thing” drug was $22 and change.  Normally it's ~$66. They delivered the bottle, and I found out why; it's just 30 pills, not 90 like normal. Thankfully, I'll be seeing Sandra before this runs out and I can get a 90-day supply like normal.  I don't want to have to order it monthly if I can avoid it.

My troubles with the ssa.gov site continue. They don't like the photos my phone generated, and they refuse to accept my SSN/Zip code combination as valid for doing an in-person verification at the post office. This is starting to piss me off. I'll try again in the morning with the phone once more.

Domino's used to have a web page that calculated your caliores and then displayed it.  Now it's a PDF.  I don't like that.

The forklift's backing-up noise is just like my microwave's “I'm done” noise is unloading a truck of lumber.  This is very confusing to me, even though I know I don't have anything in the microwave

The maintenance dude was sick all last week, so I didn't get the A/C & heater unit changed out.  He has a backlog, but I should have it done this week, possibly as soon as tomorrow.  But right now, I'm sweating like a sweating thing. It's 89; feels like 100 with highish humidity. Going to take a cool shower, then get out of the sunlight.  That is code for going back to bed.
