But did he say “Meh” as part of that?

No, no "Meh," fortunately.

In other news, I'm starting to swell up a bit. The doctor said to expect this, and that I should ice down the area, which I have done.

They warned me about blood in my pee and poop after my procedure.  I didn't know that they meant for the 1st day my pee would look like red bug juice.

Just got back from the Doctor's office.  Short run down on what happened.
1) Stop taking walks until my hip gets better.  That's about the worse thing I can do for it.
2) Do a set of exercises twice a day for the hip
3) Use  Diclofenac gel on the hip in the morning and knees as needed.  Only once a day, however.
4) Getting meds for migraine
5) Need to make sure I see Dr. Frogge on the 1st, but it looks like one of the 16 biopsy samples taken may be cancerous.  She isn't a urologist, so didn't really know what all the report meant, but she said make sure I do see him.  She was rather emphatic about that.
6) If my hip doesn't get better, I may need a series of injections.
7) I see her again in 3 months to see how things are going, sooner if the hip gets worse.

Here's more. The "wait and see" got a LOT worse. My right leg looks like The Elephant Man's leg now. I had a sonogram today - they found a 7.3 cm "bubble" of fluid in there, so they're going to put me under tomorrow (Friday) and insert a new drain. Just what I always wanted - more surgery.

I've taken the max dose of Loperamide for one day. (60ml of the liquid type). It's only slightly working. I'm trying to decide if going to the clinic is called for. Think I'll wait until noonish Monday. If I'm still having, ah, issues, I'll go to the downtown one. The weather is supposed to be just muggy, but not raining. At least the attacks are happening 30 minutes apart now.

If you haven't talked to your doctor and your pharmacist about using loperamide in combo with all the other stuff you're on, please do so. Some of its drug interactions are, let's say, unfriendly.

(It's also one of a few OTC drugs that I normally use half - or less - of the recommended dose, and still get quite acceptable effectiveness.)

All my doctors are aware of all my drugs.  I use the same pharmacist for everything.  I've never had issues with loperamide not working before.  And it's stopped, at least I haven't had movement in the last hour.  Or at least felling like I need to poop, even if nothing really happened.

I'm seeing my urologist in 5ish hours about my prostate and cancer of it.  Freaking out more than I have been.

I got a “maybe”.  Only 1 out of 16 samples was suspicious, and it wasn't definite.  I see him again in 6 months.

Still have a sort of gross side effect of the biopsy.  Dr. Google says that it may last up to 6 weeks.  The Real Dr. Frogge agreed with that diagnosis.  And was amused when I said, “Dr. Google”.  And not poop related.

I'm not sure, due to the twisted back masking it, but I think I'm starting to have a kidney stone. Need to drink more than normal for the next couple of days to flush it out.

Almost certain I have a micro stone.  The last one lasted a week.  The one before that only 3 days.  Not looking forward to this.

<google>  seems that Flomax is used off label to aid in the passing of kidney stones.  This is promising.

Nothing quite like rolling in your sleep and suddenly being jolted awake by kidney pain.  Damn, I hope this one doesn't last.

I got up to eat breakfast. This was a mistake. I'm going to be taking analgesics right on time for at least the next day or two.

Google says, via several respected websites, says NSAIDs for kidney stone pain, which is ironic given NDAIDs issues with kidneys in general. Meh. I'll take ACA when the time comes for the next dose and see if that works better.

It's been about 30 minutes since I took drugs. They seem to be helping, but anything but flat on my back hurts more than it should. Working on any project will wait at least 30.

CW:  Gross body functions

I have a micro stone on its way out.  Based on historical evidence, I've got 8-16 more hours.  I've got diarrhea,  taken max dose of drugs for it.  Gut still rumbling.  I have a both sides of my head headache that is not responding to normal drugs.  I pissed off some goddess and I need to know what I need to do to make her stop.

The stone has passed.  The headache is hanging around, not as bad as it was yesterday, but the 3rd issue is still an issue.

Still have diarrhea.  If I still have it at 5ish, I'm off to the clinic to see if I can get something stronger than imodium.

The headache has returned in force.  The other issue is back.  I've taken meds but I am going to bed now for a while.

So I was hit by a car Monday morning.

Mostly all right

Sprained right foot, big contusion on the right Achilles tendon, and a stylish new boot that does not respect Nancy Sinatra.
