Catalina does seem justified in her reaction, I would expect this to chance once Hanma mentions that Susan has been helping her design this game.

Well yes but only because it's not canon. I'm not sure Hanma would be able to convince her in canon. On the other hand, she would likely fail to convince Susan as well.
