This is precisely the sort of card I was talking about when I said that implementing them on a machine can suck. I already have an FSM that applies cards one at a time with a filter checking for repetitions. This seemed like a good idea based on rules and before seeing all the cards. Now I have to bypass the filter check if "ditzy" tag is set and then do a counter on each successful application of a card to decide what the chance of new card sticking should be. Fortunately, I think this can still work with cards being applied one at a time if I do 100% to stick, 50%, and 33% for each subsequent card. And can a fourth card now be played if player is "ditzy" AND "busty"? Oh well, I can tune all these little things later.

"Ditzy" Susan is not noticeably hindered in her cognitive or linguistic ability.

So how is she "Ditzy"?

Yes, I read the commentary.  But that just made me feel ditzy.

I guess this is yet another time when I'll need to wait for the story.

While I'm not particularly fond of the ditzy trope, if would have been fun to see it applied to Susan for a little bit. I wish that instead of seemingly ditching it entirely, Dan had tried just toning it down.

Over on Patreon Thatoneguy suggested the effect might be on the mini figure, which would be better than nothing, but I still hope there's some mental/verbal affect on Susan herself.

I'm not sure a human could tell a ditzy squirrel from a non-ditzy one.   The term "squirrelly"  was invented for a reason.

I think in terms of this game, "Ditzy" and "Busty" are both physical traits and so can't both be applied to one player. If I read Susan's explanation correctly, "Ditzy" would allow her to be able to, for example, buy a 3 space with 3 animal cards but only one of those cards, chosen at random by the game I imagine, would actually transform her. This would also replace the squirrel form she current has.

Obvious advantage for this trait would be if she had a clothing card, and then drew 2 physical cards at the end of her turn, then on her next turn landed on a 3 space, she could still use those three cards, but one of the physical cards would randomly be chosen and replace "Ditzy". Or if she rolled doubles, she could transform Rhoda and one of the physical cards would replace Rhoda's "Busty".

Of course, there are the combo cards to think about as well. It's probably safe to assume that Susan could buy a 3 space by combining a clothing+physical card with another clothing card and the game would apply the physical trait and randomly pick the clothing.

I would like to present several examples of non-ditzy squirrel:

Good point. But there could be clothing or animal form that gives same benefits as "Busty". So we might still have a situation with a "Ditzy" character having more than 3 cards to play.

A Kangaroo form would probably work.
