I can see that though, Susan being more comfortable when it didn't seem like people were judging how she looked, then the growth spurt happened and she became "Internet Famous" with the review show and she started noticing people calling her lanky and such. It's understandable how she'd suddenly become self conscious.

You mean "more self conscious".

Also note that the bare midriff clothes might be adaptable ... I mean, the clothes she had over them could actually be just open and not unclosable.

(And, based on Grace and actually almost everyone else, it really WAS relatively warm January.)
