My headcanon for the last panel is that it's part of the script Susan was given and she's reading it in an exaggerated bad-acting voice.

Dan did say in the commentary that Susan is "On" like as if she was doing a review show episode. That doesn't negate any headcanon that Nanase actually did what Susan requested, in a non-canon setting of course.

Which considering this is a definite non-canon segment meant to address comments from the readers, it doesn't necessarily negate the canon potential of the rest of the story if we keep it as a separate segment similar to Amanda and Lisa's appearance in the middle of Question Mark.

And now we have a new reason for this pinup to exist.

I don't think Nanase needed any excuse for that.

My headcanon is that Susan isn't actively interested in seeing Nanase in sexy poses without Elliot, BUT during the review shows, she learned to make jokes/teases like that because they make the review more interesting.

Also, my headcanon is that Nanase actually did that because she doesn't need much convincing for sexy posing. And Susan wasn't complaining that much.

And yes, this has the same status like Amanda's and Lisa's appearance or Q&A in general: it's canon but out of continuity.

I'm just saying that we initially believed that it the scene was from Ellen's POV, but this NP makes it possible for the scene to be from Susan's POV if headcanon permits.
