I’m hoping Monday is just a wide angle shot, showing Grace and Ashley eating popcorn on the couch watching all the cuteness. If anyone is likely to encourage that behavior, it would be those two.

That kind of scene would almost certainly render this not canon, but I do still have hopes that Elliot and Tedd would mention this to Grace and Ashley, who would then say "go for it!"

I wonder from which panel it's fantasy. Like, presumably, Aug 16 comics really happened. Was Aug 19 teasing something Elliot managed to do, or was all six following panels just something they though about before realizing neither can focus on science now and they need to get some action with their girlfriends first? Or cold shower I guess but action with girlfriends sounds like more fun.

There wouldn't be enough time for them to arrive and open popcorn from the time Elliot and Tedd last paid attention to their surrounding.

However, I agree that if they WOULD be there, they would likely encourage it.

There will be difference: Ashley might say "go for it and let me watch" because she would like to see it. (Susan even more so, but she may not admit it.)

Grace, meanwhile, wouldn't be sure what the issue is and might even comment that the science aspect would be interesting.
