And I think anime is full of schools which would be risky to start with due to the high number of magical girls there.

Of course, Merle Corey and Luke Raynard, alias Merlin of Chaos and Rinaldo of Kashfa, visited totally ordinary school in relatively low-magic universe ... I'm pretty sure the Logrus nor the Pattern won't care about any "magic-free" zone.

But what are the chances to meeting them? Million to one? ... ok, probably infinity to one.
