Nice idea about the cut scene. However, I think that in world with multiple PC's (or one repeatedly *cough*Hyrule*cough*), NCPs will eventually find out how game mechanics like cut scenes work.

Obvious guess: that cult guy that ran away from Rhoda. I would not be surprised if he'd be stalking her waiting for the opportunity to strike.

So who could this one be?

Cardinal de Richelieu (full disclosure, I ALWAYS suspect l'Éminence rouge)

Noah (or to be more specific, the game counterpart to Noah)

Grace (some how a menacing shadow seems like a fitting intro for the friendly furry)

Squirrely Dan (it has been too long without a self insertion in any of the comics)

Unless he had more elsewhere, we didn't see any run away with him so I assumed Rhoda kicked their asses.

Susan did believe he'd be a recurring inept villain though, I've known of games with similar inept villains that kept trying to get you.

First, those are background characters so just because we didn't saw them running doesn't mean they didn't, kicked ass or not. (If the character will be limping, it's obvious.)

Second, those are obvious mass characters (all with same sprite/model/assets) and he definitely has more of them, likely as much as he need autoscalled to heroes level.

Note that my main argument is that they really look very similar. Which, granted, may not mean much in case of shadow in hood.
