Here is.
At least Dwight remembers why they came over.  Plus it looks like we aren't going to see any more of Dwight's sensitivity training, plus we might miss out on Laim's attempts at changing the status quo, unless the gang decides to visit the griffin side of the world.  Sorta too bad, but we have enough hanging plot points issues on this side to deal with as it is, no sense in bringing a whole other world in need of some sort of civil rights change into the mix.

He seems to have matured a whole lot in one week/a minute of comic time. Is it weird that he knows Andrea and Tara's mission?

Everyone has their stuff back, evidenced by Edward's glasses; ... seems to have taken no time to sort that out. Virginia is incredibly efficient, continues working while the expositions are ongoing, just after having been threatened by Dwight.

It's possible that there was a minor time skip between Edward asking to get his glasses back and the next comic.  Just saying.

An EGS comic is actually going to get to the subject that was announced?

I suppose the random idea generator would eventually get back to "Pick Up Where We Left Off . . . "

It is a sad cliché that members of oppressed servitor classes often excel at performing their duties while being assaulted and insulted.  Virginia probably gets ten times what Dwight dished out just bringing lunch to Liam's office.

And only after a dozen or so of comics from where it went off track?  UnPossible

I admit to considerable impatience on the return of Tara and Andrea, but it has long been my hope that we would see more than a glimpse of the EGS multiverse--preferably through the eyes of one of the Main Eight Nine... however many we're up to now. It seems unlikely that Mr. Verres would approve of Elliot and/or Grace taking a quick trip to Griffinstan, especially with whatever intrigue  going on just now, but I'll settle for knowing that there is intrigue. At least for a while.

I doubt it. The blockage seems to have been a major problem on their side. Andrea's investigation may be big news. Even if it isn't, it's not too odd that a guard would be told why he was granting her passage.

Checking back, Edward specifically asks for his glasses in the May 25th comic, and Virginia races over to him to get away from Dwight. She still has the coat and cell phone in later comics.

So no time skip needed.  I hope she remembers to give back the jacket and phone before they go back to their side.

I like the detail on Tara being able only to partly heal Elliot’s injuries. She is, after all, not a healing specialist, and what healing she does know would be optimized for healing Griffins.

Given Dwight's reaction to 'tech' I'm pretty sure she will.

Also, that jacket does not go with what she is wearing

Alien vision in fiction is a lot like Star Trek being populated by essentially human compatible aliens. It seems unlikely that alien eyes would respond to the same wavelength of light that ours do. We see the wavelengths we do because they are within a few narrow windows of transmissibility in our gas envelope. On the other hand, if they can breathe our air, their native air must be similar, and it might actually make sense that they see the same wavelengths.

Even on the Earth, though, not all creatures see the same light. Some colors are more useful in some contexts. I've heard us described thus, "Birds have true color vision, primates have color vision retrofitted on a monochrome system". Many nectar eaters see UV. Uryuom eyes are different enough that we can suspect something different is going on. Maybe Virginia is thinking, "Can't wear ultraviolet after labor day."

Why does this amuse me as much as it does?

Motor Mythbusters explained a lot of that when they were doing the "birds poop more on red cars" myth (they don't, but red is in the top 3).

Great. Guess what color car I have. It's not a bright red, a bit toward maroon.

Well, if I recall correctly, orange was on the low end of the getting pooped on scale.  This was based on a month long, summer time, test in LA.  YMMV.

Maybe I should install active defense like the T-14 has, and shoot down the overflying pigeons.

One of the other things they did was make defenses against having your hood pooped on.  One of them was an active defense triggered by motion sensors, granted it was just firing water.  I suspect the reason why it failed was due to the fact that the birds were higher than it's acquisition basket was set for.

Birds would be good targets for a microwave weapon set to fricassee.

Same problem with acquisition basket.  Set to low and you don't get most of the guilty parties.   Of course you would need to make sure it doesn't trigger on ground based targets.  I suspect that frying a small child would get you spoken to harshly at least.

Your targets will be above you, with their aerial gravity bombs, so pointing the defensive system upward is the way to go.

Could also set it to trigger at velocities above that of a human walking around but less than the speed of a wing beat.  Also could reject returns of over a select size as to only get birds.  The radar cross section of a bird is much less than the RCS of a human.

With modern digital radars thing like that a possible.  Wouldn't want to try it with old school analog systems however.
