Looks like the giant space turtle is more a part of magic than I had assumed. Plus the will of magic wants Tedd to succeed

Just because Tedd is headed to MU, there is no need to assume this part of magic's plans involve our resident Seer.

One possibility?  Several individuals have expressed their intent to persue a romantic relationship with Susan despite her expressing no interest.  Magic may be establishing a multi world portal there as a place for her to dispose of the bodies.
