Dinosaurs are extinct. We all know this. So, the next time you see birds, do your part, eliminate them For Science!   Never leave a tern unstoned.

I remember an article about this in Scientific American long ago; I may have still been in high school. I don't recall the authors name, but it was likely him.

June Lockhart passed away on Oct 23, 2025; she was on of the moms on Lassie and the mom on Lost in Space. She turned 100 years old this past June.

Tough to be a fan of this one, but Darth Cheney comes across as a decent human being when viewed against the backdrop of the current crop of what passes for leadership in the MAGA GOP. Points for accepting his lesbian daughter, Mary, and for endorsing Kamala Harris.

Cheney's biggest issue was that he was the last of the Neocons.  Right now, I would love to have Neocons running the government.  They tend to be left to neutral on domestic policy and favor a “robust” foreign policy.  Having a government that thinks Russia is the enemy right now would be a good thing.

Cleto Valentine Escobedo III passed away yesterday, Nov 11, 2025. "Who was this illustrious individual?", you may ask. He was Jimmy Kimmel's lifelong friend and band leader.

Rob Reiner and his wife Michele have, apparently, been stabbed to death in their home. They were found dead with knife wounds, LAPD is investigating it as a homicide. Apparently killed by their son.

I just saw that Rob Reiner had died, did not see those horrific details. The bit about 'Apparently killed by their son.' (Nick) is being claimed by some sources, but is still being investigated by police. He has issues, so it's entirely possible, but it's also an easy answer which often leads to the full case not being examined carefully enough. 

Pointing toward Nick, history of substance abuse, coldness towards his father, seems to have disappeared after the incident which may mean he is hiding. Arguing against, Rob supported him making a film within recent history and why his mother? 

As Sandra Bullock's character Gracie Hart said to Candace Bergen's character Kathy Morningside in Miss Congeniality, "Y'know, you got a really good shot at that insanity plea."

When I first started seeing things about the murder, it didn't identify who the victims were, just their approximate age and who's house they were in.

Scott Adams, creator of “Dilbert,” has passed.  While he ended up in the later years of his life an asshole, during the Dot Com Boom and Bust, he was a voice of, well, what passed for sanity.

I kinda liked him back then. That ended with his later escapades.

I can mourn what he was back then. I will shed no tears over what died today.

That's pretty much how I feel about it. Back in the day, I first identified as Dilbert, then wanted Dogbert's job.  As the years went by, I started to identify with and use as a roll model, Wally.

Back in the day, I loved the comic, it was where I worked. Then one day I found a book of a collection of Dilbert comics in the library. It was too much, it was no longer funny. Stopped reading Dilbert after that.

He was fairly young, wasn't he? 68 years old, died of cancer.
