I think he's going to pull a Grinch here, and his heart will grow three sizes that day. This will probably not result in cardiac problems, because, come on, fictional trope.

It can be overwhelming when you step into an unfamiliar culture.  Especially when you discover that people do things differently and yet manage to avoid being swallowed up by the Earth.

And this culture shock can come from going to a different time, a different country, a different neighborhood, or even just paying attention to what's outside your own skull.

While I'm always glad to see people have personal growth, even if they are comic characters, I sorta wanted Rich to stay an antagonist to the main cast. Sometimes a jerk is a jerk.

Don't give up hope. He's still a bone head and there's plenty of room for him to screw up.

True, but his core bit of bone-headedness is how he treats fem persons. He's a clueless pick up artist who has a very low opinion about fems in general.   Of course come Tuesday we might discover that this isn't a Road to Damascus moment for him.

Anyway, it’s interesting to see that Rich is doing much of his dickishness due to fear of peer pressure rather than actually believing in the crap that he spouts.
