Do we know if Moperville has any coffee shops? I mean it has to have some, but the cast hasn't been in one.  And we know that Susan, at least, drinks coffee.  Plus Grace, but not Tedd.

What's the policy on cat/dog people and ear skritches?  I mean you don't in general do that to humans.  Of course you would only do skritches on some one that is OK with you doing so.

Not all cats and dogs fight.  I find it highly probable that they played around in an adorable manner, sorta like what happens when you expose friendly puppies to kittens.

Cats and dogs get antagonistic not because one is a cat and another is a dog, but because they are strangers/invaders to one another. Cats and dogs who are raised together in a home get along quite well.

The kittens thought the Husky was a wonderful kitty toy, thing to ride around on, and warm bed.

The mother cat thought the Husky was a terrifying monster.

Dogs are very social, not always in positive ways; they can be socially aggressive. Cats can be socialized, but can also be very much loners. Kittens Are in an more flexible, still willing to play with others; they do that naturally with each other, before they mature. Puppies, likewise are very playful. Kittens an puppies raised together will tend to get along. Adults will not be as flexible; they will have a more defined personality and may make allowances or may not.

I know of a husky that cannot be trusted around a cat or any other smaller animal.

One of my favorite dog/cat interactions I've seen was when Mythbusters were testing "like herding cats" and they brought in a trained border collie.  Poor thing was reduced to hiding behind it's owner.  "Mom, 1hey won't herd, I'm confused and scared"

If I remember correctly, they totally failed to herd the (admittedly, fairly numerous) kittens into a fairly large ring and keep them there.

Probably should have glued them in place.

They didn't need to herd them, they just needed a pile of boxes in the ring.

Boxes don't work as well when the cats are some what freaked out by their change in location.
