Sad Susan is still sad. And confused. She made Sarah not say a joke (commentary).

Fear of the future? "I don't want to become my mom."? "Relationships will change, and I'll miss my friends."? "Everything will be unfamiliar. I will loose control. I take comfort from being in control."? Or ???

Changes is scary.  And for some one who is a tightly controlled as Susan, this can be overwhelming.

I fall into this fairly often.  If it last more than a couple of months, I bring it up with my shrink and normally get a change of meds.
