Dan gave Tedd two black eyes! The brutality!

I like the current pacing of the comic, it is leaping forward. Drawing in threads, too.

Grace appears to be extra tall. I think she's in the foreground.

Similarly, Lord Tedd looks very tall. I think he's not actual perspective; imagined, illustrative, kind of floating, looming large as a threat.

Elliot's eyes are very expressive of his astonishment, nice touch. He has a noticeable hair band. I checked, and he's wearing it in Monday's comic, but it's not as obvious. It appears to be a sports style band that a guy with long hair might wear, but I don't recall Elliot wearing one. His hair is long enough normally to benefit from one when he works out or plays basketball.

Grace also appears to be stunned by the appearance change, as she well should be.

Edward seems way too passive about it. Then again, he's seen some weird <pre-composted natural fertilizer>. <Biblical fiery hot place>, he may know people with those eyes.

Hmm, I wonder if the Edward Verreses have ever met. They should have an inter-dimensional convention every now and then, just Edward Verreses.

Notably, Lord Tedd is wearing a gauntlet similar to the video game glove Tedd modified, and later found out he didn't need. Perhaps this implies Lord Tedd has not progressed as far as Tedd in understanding his capabilities; too distracted by conquest.

Also, where is Edward in Lord Tedd's universe? Seemingly not present, was he a victim of Damien, General Shade Tale, or Lord Tedd? Or is he in hiding? Or even the puppet master behind it all? Not a great universe to dwell in, I think.

I wonder if Lord Tedd is going to make an appearance himself or if he is in fact dead as Edward once implied.  It's possible that he can detect  our Tedd's surge in power and investigate.

And where is that universes version of Elliot? Say what you like about either, they both provide Tedd with positive role models. Though I can't find the relevant strip, I recall Tedd speculating about whether the presence of Elliot was the difference between him and Lord Tedd.

Elliot is the glue that holds this world together, isn't he? Without him, Susan would probably be the bitter man-hating straw feminist she was at the beginning of the strip, Jason would be isolated, the North and South Moperville High groups would likely be unknown to each other, the Magus storyline would be impossible, and on and on.

Not bad for a lazy introvert.

I wonder if there is more than one Lord Tedd in a multiverse? Why wouldn't there be?

Many Lord Tedds probably exist, but there is one who appears bent upon killing off potential rival Tedds within this part of the Multiverse.

Also, the fact that Tedd (and hence likely the majority of Tedds in the Multiverse) is a rare and powerful Seer explains how Lord Tedd became powerful enough to be a conqueror in the first place.

World conquering Tedd was the victim of a prophesv regarding his parents that was most umpleasant.  They abandond the infant, but he was found and raised without knowing his parents or the prophesy . . . .

Lord Tedd as Teddipus Rex?  He has the Black Hole Eyes . . . .

"They've got Lord Tedd's Black Hole Eyes" to the tune of "She's Got Betty Davis Eyes"

I don't see this hair band. Are you referring to the black above his forehead right at the lower edge of his hair? I figured that was just dark shadows.

Many years ago there was a filler/sketchbook showing Lord Tedd at a grave. I've always figured that was Elliot's grave, but Mr. Verres is another option. Or maybe more than one of Lord Tedd's loved ones died...

I don't think Lord Tedd would have killed them, or that Lord Tedd would trust General Shade Tail if GST had done so. I think it was the death or deaths in Lord Tedd's life that led him down the road to becoming a "Lord" and seemingly villainous. As for who did kill Elliot/Mr. Verres/whomever, my guess would be Damien.

I also doubt Lord Tedd is actually particularly evil. We know he calls himself "Lord" and has some sort of base/hideout, but I don't recall any indication he's actually a world conquer. And while the whole "send demon nuclei to kill other Tedds" thing seems pretty bad, it's important to note that we have yet to see any evidence any of those nuclei succeeded at that task, and Lord Tedd being the sort to even attempt that doesn't mesh very well with what we saw of him in Painted Black, and with Nioi's loyalty to him. I suspect either Lord Tedd has been framed for the Demon Nuclei attack, or they weren't actually supposed to kill anyone; possibly their goal was not to kill other Tedds but to drive those Tedds to become stronger.

Yes. The bottom edge is straight, not jagged, so should not be hair shadow. Might be art style.

That's an interesting theory.   Of course that means that Lord Tedd is a seer and knows how to use his power, and assumed that the other Tedds knew they were seers as well.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if it turned out that Lord Tedd wanted to strengthen them in order to stand against a much greater multiversal threat?

That might explain why Nioi said that "You have many misconceptions about him.", after she caught Grace when she was falling from splash damage of Damien blowing up.
