      Welcome!   03/05/2016

Welcome, everyone, to the new 910CMX Community Forums. I'm still working on getting them running, so things may change.  If you're a 910 Comic creator and need your forum recreated, let me know and I'll get on it right away.  I'll do my best to make this new place as fun as the last one!

Birds and lizards are represented, so I guess 'furry' means feathery and scaly too.

Lizard-people and dragon-people are sometimes called "scalies" within the furry community. I can't recall hearing a bird-person get called a "feathery", but it probably happens (and if not I'm sure there's some other term for them).

Things that make you say, “What The Fuck?”   I just got a birthday card from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas.  I'm not even covered by them until Jan. 1st.  It's I also don't remember giving them my birthday on the sign-up web page, but they may have gotten it from the SSA.

This is slightly less weird than the year the Google changed its home page into a “Happy Birthday” page.  They haven't done that since then.

I am too ( @chronosthecat.bsky.social ) but I mostly use it for following/replying to other people, and repost things far more than I create original posts.

My primary posts are for my daily Explorer postings.  I do follow a few, mainly for Ukrainian war stuff.

I'll take headlines I did not expect to see for 1000, Alex.

Navy SEAL who shot Bin Laden launches cannabis company

At least since Vietnam, the military has had a number of fans of cannabis. Once they're out, it's less of an issue.

My own view is, not a fan. I've rarely seen anyone managing their use well, and I've seen it F@%# up a number of folks, although it's difficult to ascribe cause and effect, and there were other factors; weed may have been a symptom more than a cause. Nor have I given it a fair try. Not wanting to go down that path.

That said, it seems safer than alcohol, and I think the restrictions are ludicrous and politically and racially motivated.
