Ellen sees that Magus was manipulated, but also gives Magus more of a pass than I would; Magus was on the inflexible side, not really open to reason.

Foul mouthed chibi Nanase is among the scariest things I've seen in this comic. 

Are the recap pages a symptom of too many unresolved plot lines?

Hope doesn't even remember all of this, if I've got it straight. Poor Ellen, imagine meeting the entity who caused you to be created, and they barely remember you.
