Adrian briefly becomes a vampire in the first panel. He is ranting about Elliot doing reckless things at the time. Really? More reckless than turning into a vampire? Also, why isn't the word 'reckfull'? Reckless should be when you are being less reckfull.

In the second panel, they are both ghosts, although Dan(a) calls them silly-wets. (Re: C0mmentary, Did I spell that right?)

In the third panel, they are both normal (for small quantities of 'normal'), but Adrian sure is judgemental. Also, shouldn't the conjured shoe have disappeared?

It's EGS canon that conjured clothing hangs around for up to a couple of days.

I know about men who fondle ladies shoes like the Prince.

Cindertedd, run.  Do not stop running.

He's not exactly fondling it, more like holding it like he was awed by it.

Prince Elliot is probably in need of someone who will speak frankly to him, with any luck Adrian, at least, will continue fulfilling that role when he becomes king. My feeling is that the world would be a better place if all the leaders had someone who was free to tell them when they are being foolish

.More like it is his last link to someone he has loved and lost is how it looks to me.

My understanding is that this was the role of the court jester. And that tradition held that when the jester spoke to the king, the jester was immune to any penalty for his words other than possibly being dismissed from that role.

Of course, not every royal court had a jester. And when the guy whose word is law wants to violate a tradition that only involves one other person...

Depends HIGHLY on the time period and the court in question.  The king's fool is very much a French and Norman thing.  The further away you get from them, the less it's likely to be true.
