Here it is.

Ellen seems to be the most confused by Hope of all the main cast.  Which is weird. She's had the least contact with Pandora of them. I mean Pandora was responsible for her “birth”, but that's her only point of contact with her.  

As a side note, Hope seems to be triggering Ellen's mothering instinct.

As a 2nd side note, Elliot and Ellen really don't seem to care it they change in front of each other.  Which is weird, even for twins.

Ellen is mad at Pandora because what she did hurt Hope. 

Normally I find people who get offended on behalf of others to be very annoying.  But her (possibly tangential) connection to the Immortal may make Ellen's input and observations relevant.

Ellen's change from slightly hostile to Hope to “must defend child” happened very fast.  I supect that Hope's “what did I do to hurt you?” must have been a trigger of some sort.
