I've seen siblings get into arguments over who was going to have the worse day.  Not to mention any names, like say Mike and David, so this strikes me as a bit of realism not normally present in EGS.

I don't think Ellen could care less if she, or Elliot, saw anything, Ellen has Elliot's memories and knows exactly what he looks like, Elliot also knows what Ellen looks like because his default female form is Ellen, but Elliot insists that "it's the principle of the matter". Ellen's probably got her back turned as well just out of respect for Elliot not wanting to feel awkward with her seeing him get dressed.

So I guess this answers the question of whether they're still sharing a room.

Those two will continue to share a room until Elliot decides to play the role of Greg Brady and claim the attic as his own.

But they didn't find an alternate room right away.  And now they only have about eight months until those two head off to college.

I imagine if there was a discussion about separate rooms, Ellen likely wouldn't have wanted Elliot to give up the room he had spent the last 17 years in to someone essentially a few days old (this would assume such a discussion happened shortly after Ellen's creation) And Elliot would believe that Ellen has just as much right to the room as he does and wouldn't let her give it up to him.

As for what happens when they go to college? Either they continue to live at home if the college is close enough, or I would imagine they would rent an apartment together, personally I would love it if the Main 8 all pitched in for a place to share, Tedd and Grace could obviously share a room, Ellen and Nanase would share another, that would leave Elliot, Justin, Sarah and Susan.

Also, as mentioned on that page, he showered looking as her. And they probably get dressed and change clothes together all the time, because insisting on not to would be even more awkward. If anything, I would suspect Elliot got more used to seeing Ellen not fully clothed - even if he tries not to look.

Note that not all of them must go to college, much less the same college. Although it would be fun.

It wouldn't help if WE would find such house. If PANDORA would find it, however ...

Yes. Point is that even if he stopped looking after the diamond (which sometimes was hard to do), he definitely did before.

My usual reaction to Poe's Law is that instead of responding in way I find more likely the statement was meant, I respond in the way which allows more meaningful (or funnier) response, or preferably both.

(In short: don't assume I didn't laugh or didn't get the joke just because I answered seriously. Sure, sometimes I really didn't get the joke - but not always.)

Well if we want to carry this scenario to an illogical extreme...

The FBI checks their records and it turns out Edward is actually a few college credits short of being qualified for his job.  So he is required to go back to school along with Tedd.

My sister spent most of her grad student days living in a house shared by several students.  They each got a bedroom of their own, and they shared the living room, kitchen, porch, etc.  Various kitchen utensils and such were shared, foodstuffs were labeled with name and date (which were usually respected), and when the TV in the living room broke my sister lent her little one until they'd pooled enough to get a new bigger one.  "Starving student" rent levels but with a bit more living space and conveniences.
