I do worry about their naming choices for their child however.

As a veterinarian, I always advocate for giving the amusing names to your pets, and giving your kids names that won't get them teased in school.

For example, we have clients with last name Brown who have dogs named "Charlie" and "Buster".

I have a client with the last name Walker whose son was born in the mid-70s.  He said they named him Luke, because they figured by the time he got to school, no one would remember that silly sci-fi movie.

As if there would be ANY name which would prevent teasing.

But yes, names might be easier or harder to use for teasing and the harder ones are better for kids.

While bad prediction, I don't think it's THAT bad name.

Wait ... mid-70s? First Star Wars was released 1977. Aaaand he probably started going to school soon after Return of the Jedi ...

Yes.  Early = 70-72   Mid = 72-77   Late = 77-79

Or something along those lines.  Personally, I tend to see 1980 as being, practically speaking, more a part of the 70s than the 80s.  But the terms can overlap; if you'd prefer to think of '77 as late, feel free.
