Figured it might be a good idea to just have a general topic for this, that ok Drow?

I like Tiffany's awkward expression in the first panel, it does well in showing her internal conflict over the feelings she's having towards Denver. Have to laugh at Faden getting in a little jab at the end too.


Oh and kudos for the Webcomic Contest idea Drow. I think it's awesome you're giving back to your community in a fun way.

Interesting that Tiffany doesn't want Denver to know her story, which means she probably reallly likes him.  It's gotta be doing a number on what's left of her male mind.

Playing the Game

- Each month will have a theme that the trivia in the game will be based on. During that month team and individual scores will be tallied. At the end of the month the team with the most points will have won the right to call themselves true Guru's of that genre as well as gloating rights over the other team. Individual scores will be tracked as well to honor the most valuable players.

- The Emcee will post trivia questions involving the current theme. When he/she does so, they will appropriate a value between 1-10 for the question determined by how difficult they judge the question to be.

- If a question remains unanswered for more than 24 hours than the Emcee will start posting hints, and may adjust the point value appropriately. Any question unanswered for 48 hours may be moved to the 'stumper' category, after which a new question will be submitted. Players may still answer 'stumper' questions at any time for double points.

- The Emcee may also at their discretion include bonus points for players that can answer additional information related to the main trivia question. Bonus questions must be answered at the same time as the main question or they are permanently lost. If you don't know the answer to the bonus questions you can still answer the main question, but once it is answered no one may answer the bonus questions for more points.

- The first player to answer the question correctly (spelling and correct names) wins the points assigned to the trivia question. After the question has been answered the Emcee will post the next question. The Emcee may choose to say when the next question will be posted or they may leave it undisclosed and random.

- When posting your answer (at least at first), please state the team you are playing for. I have no idea where everyone lives.

- The teams are the US and Canada (US) vs everyone else (THEM). As the game progresses the Emcee will post updates (usually with the new question) on where the standings are.

- Playful banter is OK, but any derogatory remarks, racial slurs, or the like will get you immediately suspended and subsequent violations will have you banned from the game.

- (New rule) Once a person has been awarded points for a correct response, they may not answer another trivia question until either 2 other questions have been answered or 8 hours have passed from the time the answer was accepted. This should allow everyone to have an equal and fair opportunity to answer questions.

Also, I'm looking for others that are interested in being the Emcee. You'd only be asked to do it for a week at a time. Specifically I'd like folks who live in other areas of the world (I'm in the Western US). This way we can round robin and make it more fair for everyone involved. Please PM me if interested.
