Silver Blaze is a writer, dammit.

This is almost completely a technical designation, as Silver Blaze has never yet had the inclination to get himself published, even though well-meaning folk have assured him that his tripe is, in fact, publishable. (HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IT.) Nevertheless, Silver Blaze is dedicated to the art of aesthetically stringing words together, and reads up on or tinkers with the craft in a vain attempt to further his writing prowess. Some may say that by not publishing, he lets his "talent" go to waste (LIES, ALL LIES), but they don't know that he already uses his powers for good by telling other writers what he thinks of their stories. Sometimes they actually believe him.

Silver Blaze is also a musician, dammit.

In this, he got lucky. Silver Blaze is the bastard child of two unnamed musical deities, who got together on a summer's day, made steamy, frenzied summer-music together, and unknowingly begat a human child. This is the truth. Happily, said child inherited his parents sense of musical wackiness, soon took up the panpipes himself, and spent his childhood piping hapless groups of bystanders into mad bacchanals. He still continues to do so today, but tests his mettle against stronger opponents, like music critics and little old ladies who like von Karajan.
