I can't get any of the comics to work in Firefox. In the image's place is a white box, and when I try to copy the image URL, it gives me an error message.

I have to open the pages in IE just to see the comics.

The new page design is CSS heavy and that might cause a problem with earlier versions of both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I'll look into it, see what I can do. Can you tell me what version of Firefox you're using and what type of system you're using it on?

It's not due to CSS or the site design, it's due to a security design. The reason why you weren't able to see the comics is because the site just recently changed server location, and I forgot to turn that particular security item off.

Your browser is set not to accept cookies, (Tools - Options - Privacy) and as such you're telling Firefox not to trust anything from the website. The image loader reads a cookie set by the website to be sure you're actually using the website to view the image, and not scraping it. No cookie, no image. You also won't be able to post comments, or log-in, or sign up for extra content. This is primarily to help keep out spammers and hackers who visit sites for nefarious purposes and don't wish to be 'seen'. However, the image protection is now turned off, so you should be able to see the comics again.

Interesting that you have Firefox locked down like that, yet IE, the world's most vulnerable browser and biggest target, is wide open.
I've decided to stop putting off those important tasks. I start tomorrow.

Interesting, I've been having a similar problem (Firefox 3.0.8 (I'm NOT going to update beyond that as I loose a few features I need for quick net surfing) and XP Home SP3), and it's been happening to ANY page I visit that has images lager than, say, a forum avatar or an ad banner.
I do NOT use Internet Exploder, I use Opera for watching online videos (YouTube & Veoh for example) and I use Flock for doing file downloads (that would otherwise kamikaze Firefox).

I have found that if I run a page up and down using the scrollbar on the side, I can get the 'blanked' images to show, but not all the time.

Note: This is on my back-up computer whilst my main system is offline whilst waiting for upgrades.
