I kinda knew she'd puss out on killing that goblin.  So begins the goodening (I just made that word up).  I suspect at the end of the ethereal journey when she returns to earth, she may still be a demon in body but will return to the brooding human full of self-hate that she once was.

I think Viv is going to help her with the self-hatred part.

Oh, Sandra... It would be so good to see the good-hearted you back. ^^
Something new is coming. We welcome you... to Overshadowed Earth.

First time i've posted in a loooooong time. Still find the comic amazingly well drawn and put together. Glad to see Sandra is finally having some form of.... guilt? shame? SOME form of hesitation for killing or hurting things. Can't wait to see how this progresses. Anyone got any speculation on how she'll handle Viv in the next update?

I don't think she's gonna turn back into mopey old Sandra. If she doesn 'turn good' again it won't necessarily mean that she will return to brooding or self hate, on the contrary I think this whole thing is her coming to terms with both her human and demon sides. I reckon she'll stop trying to be 'evil for evil's sake' and realise she can enjoy her dual-existence without butchering people in short. Then she will become a superhero and seek to go around buttkicking evil!!!! ;)

If she came to terms with her demon side she'd not be a superhero of any kind.

I think we're going to see a fight between a confused Jack and an unaware-to-anyone-else reformed Sandra. And just what the hell she is that nobody in however many realms we've been to so far can figure that out. I don't think we can enter another chapter in Sandra's life until SHE figures out what she is.

I also read Las Lindas, and one of Chalo's main characters is having pretty much the same breakdown. Seems like a month for fragile emotional constructs to fall away. Now the heeeeeeeeeeealing can begin...

If she does get to point where she won't attack Jack on sight, she'll probably also have to learn to trust herself and her friends again. The last time she trusted and/or felt pity for someone, it didn't turn out so well. I was trying to remember the last time we saw demon-Sandra bite her lip, and I think that was it. Interesting emotional parallels? Maybe?

As for comic parallels, I believe Sandra's "Miss Devil" phase coincided with the main character in Shades of Grey embracing her own demon side. It was a very interesting process of psychological healing, due to taking place in hell. While Sandra is in a similar environment, I think Joe has only touched on that sort of healing so far, with the "timestream."
In order to clearly see what is in the shadows, you must first enter them.

I am not certain if She will go pure good ether, I accueded to me Viv might be Lilith. The First Human Woman and Argubly First Demon, She Fell or Quit long Before the serpent. If so maybe She found her balence?

I can't think that Joe would return to the staus quo without some major twist.

I think that Sandra will stop being an "antagonist" before she stops being a "villain".

With the black square, rabbit girl, and grinning guy, there are a lot of personalities set up to be a common enemy to all.

I think that before Sandra has made a complete redemption, they'll return to earth to find some new chaos.
