I always hated the melodramatic entrances a lot of mid-mosses and final bosses had. I recall an old movioe, I forget the name of which, in which the main villain arises to give his greate ultimate evil speech when an 8 year old kid kicks him in the jewels and yells "go *$^& a pineapple!".

When done right, a dramatic entrance can create intense tension, but it hasn't been done well in years, so it's always hilarious to see it subverted.

Yall's thoughts on mid-bosses?
