Left eye seems to have more or less stabilized. Still legally blind in it.

The crusting isn't quite as bad IMO as the occasional crack in the crust resulting in a short nosebleed.
-
Nose is way clearer the swelling is reducing but every so often some scabbing in there breaks loose and I briefly sneeze out bloody boogers for a couple minutes.

Worst case scenario for Ellen, Diane questions the last statement. What could she say? One could be a magically created genderswapped clone of a person and share all their memories up to about a year ago?.

Good luck with your recovery! May it be a speedy and non-metallic one.
Side effect of minor amount of blood in the nose dripping into the throat.

My shrink had a longish list of things that would happen, not possible side effects, but would happen effects.
I reached a point in my life were I've learned to be more surprised by which side effects I don't have, normally expected or not.

Yup since Tuesday afternoon. I'm kind sick of everything tasting metallic.

As messed up as a post surgical nose is it's still better than the normal sinus shit I've gone through.

Linux wont support the apps I want and the hardware mom could afford as a present wont easily run macOS.

I appreciate the need for good security in my system as much if not more than the next schmo but options like McAfee & Norton aren't. Too resource intensive.
-
Found the option to turn the McAfee crap off on Dried Mud's Windows versions, on the website when you download, not in the bloody installer like normal.
-
Dried Mud is installing McAfee products w/o even a by you leave.

I don't remember a government takeover of healthcare ever being on the table, let alone enacted into law.
The apparent lack of compromise on healthcare is laughable considering they started with the compromise plan - essentially the Republican counteroffer from the 1990s health care debate.
Government takeover of a service is rarely popular until well after it occurs and it becomes unquestionably obvious that the "free market" was the problem for that service.

Good question
I did find this
And I will note, while WaPo did favor Clinton over Trump they do tend to favor Republicans in general in their reporting.

IMO Fox News barely counts as News. Many political or politically connect items they put out as ED-OPs, and admitted others are guilty of this to but there seems a lot more care toavoid politicizing apolitical topics.

Maybe not happy per se but this was an unexpectedly pleasant surprise...

Palm Bay has a Rip Tide Statement. Sure it's because the Statement covers Southern Brevard but seriously Palm Bay is not even on the beaches West Melbourne, Melbourne Village, Palm Bay, Malabar, & Grant-Valkaria have no beach side territory. All of them lie on the mainland side of the inter-coastal waterway known as the Indian River Lagoon.

You live in Chicago, the Great Lakes affect your weather, and the temperature just made it up to 34F. Chances are there is gonna be some ice especially with the weather saying the Windy City got hit with freezing rain.

Ok, that makes far more sense. I also might have missed the word since.
Word of warning unless you are at the park a couple days you might consider the express pass else you might not get on as many rides as you hope. Even off season the lines aren't exactly short and Universal's rides tend to have a significant walk between them.
Also this year it's been running roughly 60-80 with moderately high humidity here depending on time of day bear that in mind when you pack but double check the forecast just in case something unexpected happens.

Slight digression but I have to wonder what magic would have done with Aurelius Shrapnel.
