Pandora's just dusting Cat's back. I mean, obviously.

EDIT: Whoopsie daisy, wrong thread. You didn't see anything!
-
So every public magic show we had seen has been Voltaire's doing trying to get Elliot killed. I don't know what his beef against Pandora is, but this obviously isn't about the "getting magic to not be secret" part.

People with the same name, it's possible. People with the same name in the same town, it's a bit of a stretch. Someone with the same name, in the same town, with an accurate physical description... yeah, that's not gonna fly for long.
Let's not forget Dunkel is not an English surname. What are the chances most people won't know how to spell it?
Also, I'm surprised Mr. Verres isn't worried when Helena basically said "hey guys, if you want powers just go ask an immortal!"

This would have happened 18 years ago. I know it's not that far ago, but how accepted was abortion in the USA, culturally and socially, back then?

Blasphemy.
C'mon, Pandora, give Catalina a spell! She'll be the purrfect pawn in your plan, you know she'll make the meowst of it!

(Does anybody recall the page of the original quote?)

Theory: Diane is a alternate-universe version of Susan. She somehow ended in this universe after birth, and that's why she was given in adoption: she has no parents here.

Back when car radios only accepted tapes, my father recorded the whole Cyrano movie, the one with Gérard Depardieu, to listen to it in long road trips. I must've listened to that movie thousands of times, and I never got tired of it. The swordfight scene at the theatre with all Cyrano's quips and jibs is still one of my favourites in any film.

Is Liz going to get retroactively a spell? All bets are off.
EDIT: Goddammit Friday was 26. Meh, third one's the charm all that...

Not really. At least, not unreasonably for human standards.

16 minutes ago, Scotty said:Probably not kill an aberration, Pandora's not likely aware of Sirleck's involvement in this, she's only been made aware of the events at the Mall so it's more likely she wants Sarah to do some recon work for her.
I'm guessing she'll ask Sarah to try to get a hold of everything that Carol filmed plus whatever cell phone videos she may have taken for her report so that Pandora can see everything unedited, not just what ended up on the news.
Sorry for the confusion. I'm not saying she's going to ask Sarah to kill an aberration, I'm just saying whatever Pandora's going to ask her is worrying. "We'll pick two underage girls unaware of magic to make them kill a aberration. What could possibly go wrong?" worrying. You know the incident I'm referring to.
-
Why does "Do you want to save all magic?" sound a lot like "Hey, would you mind to kill an aberration for us?"?
"But Pandora, isn't there people in the goverment, or even other civilians, able to do whatever you need to be done?" "I've deemed that option as 'boring'"

Here. Magus talking about his plan with Sirleck. The first times I read the three last panels as Sirleck finally being tempted with the promise of a powerful wizard being in debt with him. Now I realise Magus is anonymous, no one in that universe would miss him, and is a powerful wizard, making him the perfect next host for Sirleck, and making him interested in getting Magus a new body. It's so damn obvious now that I think about it that I feel stupid for not realising sooner.

Maybe they are and decided to not pass along that memory, as one of their rules. Most of them are insufferable and elitist enough already.

Here's today's NP strip. Thank god I was here, or this thread might have taken a few more seconds before being created.
Although being able to reduce pain would be great to my back right now.
EDIT: So that's what my back pain was! A damned ninja stabbed me! Nuts...
EDIT2: Also, today is Tuesday, and Monday it was the 22nd. [censored] it, I'm going to bed...

What if Pandora decides to portray Cheerleadra when Elliot is in a public place? Without asking or warning him beforehand, because where's the fun in that?
-
Maybe Pandora is not as insane as they let us believe, but the faces she makes doesn't help matters.
-
Thing is, you have to be a spectacularly bad manufacturer to get circuitry that explodes when it shorts out. Assuming standard terran voltages, of course. At most it should just get burnt.
-
Man, someone's gonna be pissed...
-
Reading this thread the morning I didn't have the chance to get breakfast has to be the stupidest thing I've done in a while.
-
Of course, this begs the question (or is it raises the question?) about, if Pandora is getting bored because she can predict with almost full accuracy future events, to the point of actively looking for things to go against her predictions...
how come she hasn't come addicted to lottery and gambling?

Wouldn't it be "I don't know if I'm indecisive or if I just cannot decide."?

Well, Pandora wanted furries, didn't get furries, so she made her own furry.
