For being one of the foremost paranormal investigators, Edward Verres certainly took long enough to pick up the clues Lavender was dropping.

Well, there's also the possibility that they were in this relationship for some time already, but Dan just had a chance to show it to us now.

However, it's possible it never happened. I mean, seriously, WHY would someone mind control someone else to rape third person? Sure, people are weird so there probably was someone thinking about it but he might not have the magic. If someone has mind control magic and want to use it for sex, it would be either THEM raping someone and using mind control to hide it or forcing someone to "rape" them.

In this case, the reason to control them isn't just for the sex, but for the control itself. Just like Not-Tengu liked to control completely his "flock", to someone like him, the idea of making someone do anything under his control, expecially something they normally would not do at all, would be a big turn on.

There's nothing "jerk" about the original line. In fact, the rival said it to both player and HIS GRAMPS. Regardless ... yes, it works better for Ellen.

Yeah, is just that the phrase is strongly associated with Blue, and he was the first jerk rival, and after him and Silver (who was even more of a jerk than him), all the rivals were friendly ones. And, as Ellen's character here is a fusion of both...

  4. You know, even though Dan said that the "Smel'ya latter" should be said by Nanase, I think it makes more sense for Ellen. She is playing the old jerk rival, while Nanase is playing the opposite sex rival, and those were more friends to the main character than jerks.

And yes, their eyes hadn't actually met before Tensaided started talking in panel one. That much, at least, is 100% consistent with what happens in-game.

"But I was just walking by and looking to the other side of the road..."

"Don't care, you must fight me!"

... so, Magus WAS going to wake up Ellen. No surprise.

Also, Magus might have point with men being physically stronger. He didn't have any problem fighting cheerleadra, and cheerleadra is supposed to be superhero ... and Elliot is supposed to have ASMA training, which shouldn't be THAT much worse in PUNCHING than Magus's battlemage training.

But you need to remember that Eliot still isn't accustomed to fighting while flying, while that's probably one of the earliest things a battle mage learns.

Okay, Magus has valid points, but I disagree with his conclusion. He should be asking MainUniverse!Ellen about what she wants rather than assume things.

I just hope that in the next strip, Ellen wakes up and make a counter-argument to Magus.

Hmm, perhaps the winner gets to make whatever transformations they choose?  Most likely limited by what cards exist.  Less fun could be the chance to use any remaining unused cards.

Or perhaps, maybe, the winner can make the transformations stay after the game... For the rest of that day, at most. After all, Susan helped make the game, so I can't see the transformations being long lasting ones...

IRC, Sirleck decided on his own to target Adrian after being informed of Adrian's identity. Magus just wanted a big enough distraction to keep any Immortals off his back for long enough to get the job done.

Also, I'm sure that the only reason Voltaire told him about Adrian, is because then the attack would atract Pandora, and make her break Imortal law by protecting her son.

...why should the "diamond" shatter? It survived previous divisions just fine ... and what will Abraham say about that? Will he stops getting "stoned"?

I think that's part of the alteration, most likely something Pandora made so Magus new body is the last creation from it.

For what this means for Abraham, I hope it means he will became free from his self-imposed curse.

... right. Agree, this makes sense. Also, he stopped crossing afterwards. Did he not liked it?

... is Sirleck first EGS character having serious dysphoria?

I think Sirleck prefer to use male hosts if he can, so he is not accustomed to being in female ones for long.

Or he was counting on Tedd being upset about Pandora's reset, and wasn't expecting the combination of Pandora refreshing instead, and Will of Magic telling Tedd about the refresh.

Defintelly, saying that Teddy was upset before hearing about the refresh is a understatement....
