Oh jeez. I'm really not a fan of "Social awkwardness" humour and this page doesn't exactly have me looking forward to Wednesday's comic. Dammit Tenasaid.

Just so y'all know, you can use the boost ability before activating your ultimate and the mech will shoot off ahead, so it explodes off in the distance. It doesn't say that anywhere in the tooltips as far as I know.
Then again, when you hold F1 you can read the abilities, so I'm kind of surprised Dan didn't know what the ult did in the first place.

Probably because Valve's anti cheat detection would think it's something worth banning for. They're pretty finicky like that. (Also you'd have to make the models yourself.)

"Are you tired of constantly playing as men in Team Fortress Two?"
'Not really. It's not as if there would be a noticeable difference in the gameplay of, say, a male sniper vs a female sniper. Maybe the voice is different but aside from that...'

Probably a combination of the latter and the total lack of evidence that defines Pyro as male.

Y'know, it would have way more effective if Dan just left panel 4 in full colour for the sake of comparison.

People do misuse the term. Usually either people who don't care whether someone else suffers...
Alright, I guess on second thoughts (or more like 4th thoughts) I figure I went too far off the other end and didn't kept trying to make up stuff to justify it. In the end, I just don't like it when people misuse the term "trigger" for menial stuff, and I'm probably just falling for trolls and stuff. I'm no psychologist, and I shouldn't pretend to be one.
You got me good.

I uh, hate to be that guy, but I find then when I'm drawing my own comic, the colouring is one of the fastest parts of the whole process. Though I guess I'm far, FAR more likely to just say "screw it, that'll do" when I'm trying to select a colour pallet, hahah.

Must you actually *see* them have an externally visible panic attack before you'll believe them? If so, that seems like a rather harsh requirement; if not, then how do you decide who you believe and who you don't? Because frankly, I see an awful lot of people whose criteria seems to be either whether they like or dislike the person in question, or whether they themselves are bothered by the thing that the other person is triggered by. And if you are disbelieving people who have genuine psychological harm, that's probably causing them even more harm.
Well, you see on tumblr things like "trigger warning: food" for example. If there's anyone who's actually that badly affected by even images of food on the internet, then I figure they should be in a mental institution trying to cure that problem rather than freely browsing the web like that.
And you're right, I don't know weather or not the other person is actually going to be affected in that way, but if they are, they should be trying to fix their problem instead of just shoving it under the table where it'll make them an emotional wreck permanently. And if they aren't, then they shouldn't say otherwise.
-
I feel like trigger warnings are kind of dumb nowadays, as people use them to describe things they don't like (Which I'm fine with), but then try to pass it off as something that'll send them into a PTSD attack (Which I'm not). That's an actual serious condition that you're trivialising, and makes those with the actual condition look bad.

3 minutes ago, RainbowWizard said:I'm just weirded out it's a remake when they had the perfect sequel fodder for a new team in the fluff for the tabletop game: the guys in New York are franchising out, and you're one of the new Ghostbusters teams.
That, to me, would be the best way to continue the series.
A lot of people are going nuts over them being ladies, which... Eh. Whatever.
We've had lady ghostbusters before, in the cartoons and the tabletop game. Nothing new there.
It being a reboot raises many questions I feel ought to be asked.
Also, the word "reboot" implies that they're discarding the old franchise and making it all anew, but they're very deliberately leaning on the originals.
The best comparison I can think of is if in Die hard 4.0 they replaced Bruce Willis with some random Asian guy (for example), but still called him John McClane. Saying that it's a reboot but still using the original stuff... I don't even know man. This is why I don't make movies I guess.
-
Huh, what with all the yelling on the internet about the ghost busters reboot I thought it had actually come out already. I don't watch movies in general though, so I really shouldn't care either way.

Welp. That's never gonna go away now.

Oh, another thing. Imagine what Andrea's reaction will be when Nanase explains how Susan's summoning of her doll creates a familiar.
-
So uh, Beaks are not made of solid material for griffins now? There's some physics breaking for you.
I mean, I know it's for the clarity of the expressions, but still.
-
Weird, I was always of the impression Nanase only had to have one of the prerequisites to summon a fairy doll, not both. Must have misread something when I read the archives (Like 6 times Gurmblr Grumgle...)

I like to think that Susan legitimately does not realise that she summoned that sword. The concept is just hilarious to me.
