Also also... that Diane isn't crying right now stands out to me in a comic which normally isn't shy about its characters shedding tears (heck, Sarah recently wept hard over Pandora, whom she'd only just met and befriended). I'd think if ever there were a time when it'd be natural to cry, it'd be learning that people think you're a loose bimbo. Maybe Diane just isn't a crier?

Well, she's still dealing with her emotions from discovering her family tree, up to and including learning a male adult she already knew beforehand was her biological father. I'd say she could cry, but she's still dealing with a lot of other conflicting emotions.

However, monster hunters notwithstanding, Nanase doesn't show any signs of weapon summoning talent, which would suggest the immortal who founded that family wasn't Pandora. Unless Nanase is exception and Noriko totally have that talent.

Noriko is a wizard, and I'm not sure if you can be both a wizard and someone with an affinity.

I mean, we do have evidence that the WoM knows more that it let on and is controlling how things play out by the fact that it didn't reveal Van's relation to Tedd until after Tedd and Arthur was sent back.

Van's relation to Tedd had no relevance to the decision to change Magic or not, so I could understand if WoM decided that revealing that would distract from the issue at hand.

And that might be Voltaire's downfall -- the very fact that the Immortals could be related to humans should mean that they will want their descendants to be protected from abuse by other Immortals!

Ooh, me likey. I'd love to see that.
