Are you sure you want to have to scan your head for malware?  :)

A risk worth taking. Besides, all I have to do is stay away from suspicious sites and downloads and the threat is mostly minimal. Adequate virus protection will cover the rest.

I have to question the idea of a single immortal forcibly resetting them though. Pandora is powerful, sure, but is she that powerful?

Before finding out about the mechanics behind how the magic energy excess works, I'd have assumed yes since the magic energy had to come from somewhere. Before the griffins explained it, I assumed the excess was coming from her.

Now that Andrea explained otherwise, I have to rethink what Pandora's power levels are.

Perhaps but I doubt it will quite that straightforward. We have at least the catch up from this weekend's events plus both Sam & Sarah and Justin & Luke's dates to address before then.

Oh right, forgotten about those, though they may be placed in NP instead.

  4. Today, I have learned some alarming news, I asked my parents about their health insurance since the health funds were increasing their premiums, and they mentioned that they took me of the policy because my income was above the threshold.

This surprised me, as while I planned to have my own health insurance policy, I didn't think it would be so soon and now I'm researching the various health funds in Australia to see which is suitable for me.

I read enough personal finance sites to know that having adequate insurance is essential.

Having [urine]-poor Wi-Fi in my room. I can't even watch a single YouTube video, even on lowest quality, without it taking two hours and a million refreshes to watch the next five seconds. Websites are horrid and tend towards failing or leaving out features, like pictures or chat windows. And forget about downloading or uploading anything.

Is it just your room or your house in general?

I like this one, very fun.

Gonna assume this is in Ellen and Elliot's room, though I wonder where they got the clothes.

Ellen and Nanase in Toy's-R-Us (or the EGS equivalent) checkout:

Cashier: Oh these are cute outfits, you buying these for a doll your little sister has?

Nanase: Uhh....yeah... yeah, I'm surprising Akiko with these...

    Ellen: ::snickering behind Nanase::

So much for the no lying thing.

  7. Here in Australia, there is talk of lowering the Help repayment threshold significantly.

For those that don't know, the Help system is a system where the government provides loans to students so they can get higher education and worry about costs later. The loan is repaid based on your income. The more you earn, the more you have to pay back until the debt is cleared. If your income is below a certain point, you pay nothing back.

Lowering the threshold concerns me. I get they need to make sure the system is sustainable, but I hope they are thinking this through since it would affect low-income earners badly.

As for how it personally affects me, not that badly. I am already making voluntary repayments (mainly to take advantage of the voluntary repayment bonus, but partly because I don't like owing money) and I still live with my parents, so my technically low income isn't that bad when my living costs are kept low.
